feelnu
Great video!!! Totally exposed our weak cover 2 zone. Showed 2 defenders covering Hester, left Williams WIDEOPEN. This is not the first time this happened. That's what the Eagles did to us last year, and we continue to play zone on 3rd and 7+yds. If the coverage wasn't busted, then the coach was exposed. BVG better get his stuff together tomorrow. What's wrong with a lil man to man. Blitz the Mike up the middle. Let Le'Shon beat us.
AKangarooWalksIntoABar
For all you want to make fun of Andy Reid, he is very creative in coming up with offensive plays. He had a play against the Rams where he had Celek, the tight end, split out to the right, occupying the attention of the Rams' left corner; and a bunch formation on the left of wide receivers Jackson, Maclin, and Steve Smith. A fourth wideout, Jason Avant, was on Vick's right, where you would expect a running back to line up. Prior to the snap Avant goes in motion to the left edge of the field and turns forward. This occupies the Rams' right corner. So now you have the Rams' two best corners occupied with Celek and Avant, who run go routes to keep them away from the real play, while leaving Desean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, and Steve Smith covered by linebackers and safeties. When the bunch formation splits up in 3 different directions, two of the defenders wind up covering Steve Smith, and one covers Maclin, leaving Desean Jackson completely wide open. The Falcon Jedi Knight
Andy Reid is one of the very best Regular Season Coaches in the NFL. And he certainly knows how to beat us.

Let Le'Shon beat us.They talked about this a little on NFC Playbook this week as well, how motion confuses our defense. When offenses start shifting around against our Cover 2 zone, we simply shift into either Cover 1 or Cover 3 depending on the motion, and it instantly lets opposing QBs know where to go with the ball. Instead of always shifting our zones, maybe instead we should audible into man or a zone blitz... BVG's schemes aren't necessarily bad at their core, but it's his predictability that gets into trouble (and, as was also the case last week, our poor tackling). I think that would have to be classified as an oxymoron, kind of like "military intelligence." LOL.
