Lol...ryan Vs Fitzpatrick

Ouch!

Ryan needs to pick it up a notch or two. Henne will be the next one surpassing him if he doesn't! Henne looked great against the Pats and looks to keep it up.

Lol I can only imagine what Falcon fans will say about this, but the fact that it is even up for debate is very telling!

The fact that all those UNBIASED fans voted for Fitzpatrick is more telling!

Fitz is also playing catch up more times than not, while Ryan is preserving leads and extending drives more times than not.

You're confusing Ryan with Turner. But, that's understandable.

kinda funny post I suspect Nola did not read.....or just accidentally "overlooked"

Many you are trying really hard to skew stats arent you? Why are we taking out games for Ryan again? Its very simple, 2010 season:

Ryan Fitzpatrick: 5.2 TD%, 3.4 INT%, 6.8 YPA

Matt Ryan: 4.9 TD%, 1.6 INT%, 6.5 YPA

If you say both QBs had 500 attempts (just an even # that splits the difference almost), this is what their bulks stats are:

Fitzpatrick: 57.8 comp %, 26 Tds, 17 Ints and a 3400 yards

Ryan: 62.5 comp %, 25 TDs, 8 Ints, and 3250 yards

Basically is one more TD and 150 more yards worth 9 more INTs?

It is also a flawed argument to say " first 14 games" because Ryan started as a rookie from game one

Fitzpatrick bounced around the league as a career back up and had MUCH more experience seeing nfl defenses live and in person and being in the nfl environment.

But yeah a pretty much FAIL on nolas end.

Which is pretty much the norm.

If you want to look at just the first 14 games BOTH of those blows Brees out of the water.

So yeah do you REALLY want to compare that?

Yes.

Because there is no guarantee as to where Fitty or Ryan will end up in comparison to Brees,Brady,Rodgers or Manning for that matter.

So,for right now Falcons fans can only hope that Ryan achieves such a status.

That makes NO sense vs the argument that is at hand.

Again if you really want to compare the first 14 games......then what they have become since then is utterly and totally irrelevant.

But like I said it was something Nola just glanced over....and he looks like a putz.

Which again is pretty much the norm.

Even if anyone were to buy this.. what exactly does that mean to Falcon fans? If Fitz were as good as Ryan, or better..then good for Fitz and Buffalo.. lord knows they need some good news.

We'll truely know if Fitz is a great QB, if Patriot fans start showing up on the Buffalo bills message boards talking **** about him.

Didn't you bring up Brees first 14 games compared to Ryan's first 14??

Please try to keep up.

When you bring up Ryan as a comparison to Brees ( Brady ,Manning or Rodgers for that matter ) you leave yourself open to criticism.

Like I said...as of right now Falcons fans can only hope that Ryan can achieve that kind of status.

Saints fans ignore the fact that Ryan's first 3 years were better than Brees's because all they want to do is look at the time he was with the saints.

So what? Why would they be interested in stats that had absolutely nothing to do with their team or the players & coaches that he had to work with in San Diego?

You act like Ryan is some elite quarterback that's some kind of game changer. That's nothing but Homerism, which is something many Falcon fans have in common. The complete inability to see the forest for the trees.:lol: :P

So,what your saying is...that Ryan's a game manager B)

He manages the game when we're ahead and does as good as anyone with a two minute offense, as well. One of the most ridiculous strands of logic to be formed from all these "Ryan versus" threads is that it's become a knock against a quarterback if he's capable of preserving a lead and getting a win, as if all the greats in the game today got to where they were by throwing it 50 times a game, every game.

A lot better than Josh looked getting stomped by Detroit.

You must not have watched EITHER game. I watched both. But coming from a know nothing, Homer such as yourself I'm not surprised.
