The Falcon Jedi Knight
Ryan said he was really upset that he didnt get the Falcon job. I wonder how different things might have turned out if we said Yes to Rex. We wouldnt have Mularkey and Van Gorder here, thats for sure. atlshocker
Our defense would be better. I love Rex.
atlshocker
This list is laughable...The only guys we knew that were talented on this list is Abe, McClure, and BabsI disagree Boley and Hall both went to other teams and played well as starters . Houston is laughable though.
The Falcon Jedi Knight
I disagree Boley and Hall both went to other teams and played well as starters . Houston is laughable though.Boley had a bad first season under Mike Smith. He didnt fit the new defense. But Boley was actually very good in Mora's defense. Hall was pro bowl under Mora. But Mora stroked his ego. When Petrino got here and Hall didnt get his ego rubbed, Hall started sucking.

The Falcon Jedi Knight
One thing is for sure, our defense would be 10X better right now if Ryan was hired. I dont know if our offense would be better. The Jets offense sucks.
Dem Birds
Our defense would be better. I love Rex.And our offense would be worse. What's your point?

Ed Roland
Rex was screwed over by the Falcons. They had him on hold for like 3 weeks until they could secure Smith. Felt bad for the guy but that's football. I know our defense would be feared & one we would be proud of. Man we would rock. Our offense would be different let's just say that. We would be more exciting & would actually use our premier WR on routes longer than 10 yds.The interesting thing would be would he have gone after Ryan with #3 or ??Huge mistake in no hiring Rex IMO, but this the hand we were dealt. metatron360
I doubt we would have drafted Ryan then. It would have most likely been that DT everyone claimed was gonna be the next Warren sap
*NiteFalcon*
hard to say what would have happened because our draft might have been different, approach in FA, etc. but one thing is for sure, our defense would have been better

Faithful Falcon
The Jets were atrocious when he took over that team.No they were not. They were not that bad of a team. Herm Edwards left it decent for Manginni(sp), and he left it good for Rex.
DavyDmx
He has the same amount of Super Bowl wins and appearances as Mike Smith 0. Everything else is irrelevant.

back4the1sttime
Rex is a defense of guy. But he knows how to get the best out of his players. If he can get to tow AFC Championship games with Mark Sanchez, then I'm pretty sure he would already took the Falcons to at least one super bowl with Matt Ryan.
