but he still had better players, we had alge who didnt want to be here, same with PK, our best guys wanted out, they had better talent on that team... they hhad revis and couple of good pieces on that team

We had Grimes, Babineaux, Mughelli, White, Abraham, McClure, Blalock, Hall, Nicholas, Boley, Houston, Clabo etc, the list goes on. These guys are all starters in the league right now.

I disagree Boley and Hall both went to other teams and played well as starters . Houston is laughable though.

Boley had a bad first season under Mike Smith. He didnt fit the new defense. But Boley was actually very good in Mora's defense. Hall was pro bowl under Mora. But Mora stroked his ego. When Petrino got here and Hall didnt get his ego rubbed, Hall started sucking.

our whole team sucked under Petrino no one cared.

Rex was screwed over by the Falcons. They had him on hold for like 3 weeks until they could secure Smith. Felt bad for the guy but that's football. I know our defense would be feared & one we would be proud of. Man we would rock.

Our offense would be different let's just say that. We would be more exciting & would actually use our premier WR on routes longer than 10 yds.

The interesting thing would be would he have gone after Ryan with #3 or ??

Huge mistake in no hiring Rex IMO, but this the hand we were dealt.

The Jets were atrocious when he took over that team.

Everybody needs to stop just saying whatever dumb s&%$ pops in their head...its really getting annoying

2007 Falcons

  • 4-12
  • Joey Harrington and Byron Leftwitch at QB
  • Quitter as a Head Coach
  • Finished the season with Emmitt Thomas as Head Coach

2008 Jets

  • 9-7
  • Hall of Famer at QB
  • An actual NFL-Caliber coach as Head Coach
  • Finished the season surprisingly dropping four of five to miss the playoffs

How did Rex deal with such trying obstacles <_<

grimes was comming from europe, blalock just got done having a bad rookie season, houston???? really? clabo was just starting one season along with dahl, boley wouldnt have fit into his scheme the same reason he didnt with ours(didnt want to come up and hit) babs white and abe are the only plyers we STILL have after how this organization went and got their own players... that speaks for thoes other players for themselves.. houston??? i cnt get off that one, he isnt playing nowhere near as bad when he was here....
