vido montigo
Guys, I still have a lot of faith in the Falcons this year. We have good coaches, players and fans. Mike Smith will have our guys prepared for Sunday's game.Lets remember that in 2003 the Pats started the season with a 31-0 road loss to the Bills. They went on to win it all with a 14-2 regular season record. Here's to the hope that the Falcons lead a similar path.

How many super bowls have the pats played in and won and how many have the foulcons played in and won. The foulcons are not the Pats

Sleepy27
While I do have faith in my team and we are gonna win sunday night. I find it rediculous that some of the folks on here try and compare us to teams like the pats, colts and steelers it's really really really rediculous. Peyton
before that year they had made it to the SB twice. Both losses. First of 3 titles. You should go back to your football almanac and try again.
vido montigo
You should go back to your football almanac and try again.Got me. Second title 4th appearance. That beginning of their season always stood out to me because they went on to beat the Bills 31-0 their next meeting. By the way we are an exact replica of all Superbowl winning dynasties. Super Mario
For real, I wish people would stop with these comparisons.Falcons started this season the same way the 0-16 Lions did - a blow out on the road.
kevykev21
Look.....I'm a glass half-empty kind of girl. I whine at every little thing but it's just because I'm emotional. I've been let down my whole life and haven't really had anything positive happen to me so I choose to be a whiney quitter and pout my way through life so nothing ever lets me down again. Take that, miserable life that I live!!!! I understand now why you're such a whiney *****. Makes sense.
back4the1sttime
Love the optimism, but we really need to stop comparing ourselves to the 03 Pats or the Pats period. They have two key components the Falcons don't, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. I know TD is here, but that doesn't automatically make us the 03 Pats. FlyHighFalcons
I know what this post is getting at: the season isn't over. But I'm sure that you could find a super bowl team that fits EVERY week one scenario.

*NiteFalcon*
did that same pats team lose 6 games in a row like us? (last year playoffs, 4 preseason games, first regular season game)bottom line is when you have not won a game in a while, whether its a game that matters or not, your fanbase has reason to be concerned. things will improve once we win a game

Atl/0
They had a HOF head coach, an elite QB, coordinators that went on to becoming head coaches themselves, and a pretty good defense. We don't have any of those so why even compare us to them.
