The Falcon Jedi Knight
I hope we break both of Vick's legs, and both of his arms. Broken bones always heal.
Xfactor
I agree Gritz i have no clue what to expect but let's start with our first offensive touch down and we will go from there.
falconidae
I expect to see a team much more like the 13 win team from last year than the team from the last two games. Falcons needed a full offseason more than I realized.I expect the Vick fans to be less of a factor than many believe. Last time Vick was here was an aberration. First time back, half the falcon starting O on the sidelines. Vick was only in on a couple of plays-easy to cheer just for him. Vick fans outnumbered falcons fans only because most of the falcon fans gave up and left. Think this time around, Vick is much more just the eagles QB.I expect to see Turner over 150 yards rushing. STL ran over the Eagles.I expect to see Julio Jones first TD [of many] as a Falcon.I expect to see Jerry and Spoon play like first round picks. Jerry is going against a sub par Oline, Spoon was playing well last week until he blew the tackle on the TD run, he wasn't the same after that. Think both of them play better this week.I expect the falcon Oline to do better. They won't be fighting crowd noise and the falcons keep the game close so that the eagles can't just rush the passer.I expect Smith/Ryan to rise to the occasion.I expect the falcons to run all over the eagles, Ryan to make a few critical big pass plays, the Dline to harrass Vick into mistakes, Grimes to keep DJax in check and the falcons to win. silentbob1272
I'm hoping for a great injury free Falcon's blowout win.....but I'm expecting a dinking and dunking, bending but trying not to break game plan that could go either way......hopefully ours
FlyDirty
I expect to watch my first Falcons game of the year (live out of the market and Sunday Ticket is beyond stupid with the pricing). I expect to drink some beer. I expect to eat some nachos. I expect an easier win than we all anticipate. I expect to keep on flying dirty even if we lose. jm_falcons
The deal with the Falcons I think is that our OL just is not that good....especially without MCclure. So when we face a good DL....the offense sputters. So...how good is the Eagle DL? I dont think its as good as the Bears. If we could use Rogers in the screen game that would take some of the pressure off the OL when going up against a real stout DL. We have to stretch the D horizontally in that case and Rogers is explosive.Otherwise...I sure like our run D and it will be interesting how much better the secondary gets if Hayden and Sanders start to play. FalconMama
I expect for this team to play with urgency that they didn't have last week. If Falcons are methodical about the way they attack the Eagles (run the ball with success forcing the Eagles to bring their safeties up to the LOS and THEN hit them with the big play) we will have some success. The important thing for the Falcons is to keep it close. Don't let them get up by more than a score, win the turnover battle and get good field position. Our defense must tackle and they have to be very disiciplined and they can't over pursue. I think we can win but everything has to go right and the guys are going to have to bring their A game. I hate the cliche "leave it all on the field" but that is exactly what our guys have to do Sunday night.
