It's sure as **** making me reconsider my viewing locale options for Sunday night........ :o

Just keep in mind, that a few hours North would give you access to a well stocked liquor cabinet and I am a helluva game day cook. Plus she is only prepared for one meltdown so your chances of getting the nipple clamps are 50/50. If your bring Supes she will have to get inventive. Hmmmm... I am not sure I want her to get inventive.

I think it will be a close game. Despite facing a very tough secondary, I think Ryan will have a good game and I think he'll be much more composed and aggressive. The corners are very good, so I expect MM to run plays that force the safeties to cover. If Douglas is 100% by Sunday, I expect him to have a big game because Roddy and Julio will have their hands full getting seperation. Id like to see some twin WR sets with JJ and White on one side, because that way at least one of them wont have an elite corner on them.

I'm expecting a close game for about the the first 50 minutes. The Falcons to be up 17-14 and the Eagles have the ball. Vick is trying to make a miraculous play and rushes things. He throws an INT. Falcons have a nice scoring drive and go up 24-10. It is downhill from there because Vick is panicking and rushing things. Falcons win 27-10 but it is a closer game than the score shows

Because I'll tell you the truth.....I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE FALCONS ON SUNDAY NIGHT.

I really don't....I do expect better effort,,better tackling....but after that, for me everything else is up in the air.

Not sure what to expect. I'm excited to watch the game, but nervous at the same time. It's not just the vick factor of the game, it's the fact that it feels to me like the 3rd playoff game in a row because of the team the Falcons are playing where the first two were lost. Almost like a baseball playoff series.

I have no doubt the Falcons can defeat the eagles, but it's their play calls and coaching that concerns me the most.

I expect a close game. Although I'll add to that, if the Falcons play football like they did last year with what worked for them on offense and control the clock by running the ball first, I expect the Falcons will win. Doesn't mean they can't call some deep passes, it just means I think it will be a different game if they set the tempo of the game first by running the ball instead of going to the no huddle early like they did in the last game. We shall see. I believe they can win, it's all up to what the coaches call IMO.

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I expect for us to come out and run Turner and snelling down their throats until they have to bring a safety down to stop him.

then that should open up more passing lanes for Ryan.

part of the issue last week was we were trying to do something they were totally prepared for.

The bears played back anticipating we would try and be more aggressive. For us is was almost like beating our heads against the wall.

This week I expect us to come out and be a more balanced football team,

I was thinking this to myself earlier today. I think you are right in everything you said.

i'd just like to know where we can find ONE bonafide reason this team gives us hope. Think about this..... this team may be showing us it's true soul, lacking in desire and ability. We fans expect and hope for a win, a statement from our team.........but what does the players ,coaches and even ownership believe? I don't get any expressions of spirit or determination from Flowery Branch. Come on Falcons! Make us believe!

I hate to say this because it's not totally directed at Vick, but at all the hopeless, hapless, pathetic, nut hugging, man-worshipping, Vick creaming, the only thing that is football to them is #7 losers who act like the Falcon's franchise started and ended with #7 and believe this franchise did him wrong:

I hope will SMASH the Eagles, and exorcise the demons of this ridiculously stupid situation with Vick huggers vs real Falcon fans by embarrassing the Eagles Sunday night cause it is so hard being a real fan and having to hear people always say Atlanta fans suck and try and defend that when the morons we have in this city embarrass us by slobbing all over a guy who really didn't treat them or the opportunity he had here very well. Didn't really show the fans much love at all when he was here. Had that "I'm a superstar and you should be grateful I blessed you with my presence" air about him the whole time. I know he was young, but it is what it is. The fact that Vick was young and made all these mistakes is why I can't totally hate on him. It's all the grown azz idiots that have never seen the situation for what it really was and want to blame everybody but Vick for what happened. He would never sign your autographs or take pictures, turned his nose up at you, shot birds at crowds OF FANS knowing their were children there who would not understand what the reason was, embarrassed the city with dog-gate, lied to the one guy who made him the face of the franchise AND signed him to 100 million freaking dollars, went to jail and left the franchise in shambles. YET, they still love him more than the Falcons and actually blame the Falcons for his demise even after he admitted it was all his fault. How ignorant is that?

For that reason alone, I really hope we rip a new HOLE in the Eagles azz. Normally, it would be cause we need every win we can get, but this situation with Vick unfortunately has turned this into something ugly on a level I've NEVER seen and quite frankly we are going to have to destroy him and the Eagles to put this to rest. Please football gods, you have punished us REAL fans long enough. Let it be,

I hope we win.

I am literately at war with myself on this one though. Part of me thinks we will come out ready to play some football and will win (by a very close margin).

The other half is thinking realistic...which is of course that the falcons havent given me anything to be excited about for based on how they ended last yr and how they decided to start against the bears. It was with no emotion and simply pathetic. It wasn't the fact that we lost, it was HOW we did it. It was terribly sad and depressing.

So I simply do not want to get my hopes up because for 1. we typically dont fare well against the eagles. 2. they have alot of offensive weapons that we simply dont match up too well against.

Is this view point pessimistic? ummm it could be viewed that way..

But our guys have to be excited...pumped!

if not, it will show..and the eagles will run all over us.

We just can't come out there playing conservative and complacent. Which is what I think they just might do sadly. Based on what Malarkey said earlier this week about "not knowing what it means" to play aggressively...

And VanGorder talking about the guys had "jitters"!? give me a break!

the first step is accountability. Call me crazy but the only thing I wanted to hear them say was "Look, we got our ***** kicked today, in all 3 phases. There are no excuses and we must improve starting right now".

I could respect that as oppose to hearing the same ole

"we just need to get better."

"our guys have jitters"

"we need to be productive"

"the bears played well" (no crap sherlock? I bet they did!) <_<

In order to make the fans believe, the players must believe first.

So I hope we win this Sunday. I will be in full support of the Falcons but honestly, if it doesn't turn out favorable then I won't be surprised.

excuse my rant..i needed to get that out..

that is all!
