ATLSAGE
I personally hope that Kansas City tanks it this year so we can make a run at him as Offensive Coordinator. I believe he can add that "explosion" we are looking for and he definitely would have tools similar or even better than what he had in Arizona (excluding Fitzgerald). Thoughts? paulitik
Interesting idea. Definitely has a little more fire than Mularkey.
AthensDirtyBird
I wouldnt have a problem with this at all, I think the team needs a little change up to get everyone hyped up again, the offense feels too stagnant.

vel
Do you really think he is on the hot seat after one year? If they go 2-14, he won't be fired.

Knight of God
Haha! He's not going anywhere. They will fire everyone except him. He'd be the HC...LOL!!!
KCFalcon22
I live in KC and we don't really want this guy handling the office. You have to remember last year Charlie Weis was calling the shots for the Chiefs offense that took them to the playoffs. I do give him credit for his work in AZ though... iDash
He has to short of fuse, first thing You know,Roddy would be on bench in DogHouse!I rather play Gruden 6+ million just to be OC
Borat
0 Chance of him getting fired, even if the chiefs go 2-
Pacific_Falcon
Smith is conservative, he doesnt have conservative coordinators by accident. Honestly I think it will be all or nothing with the coaching staff...theyll either eventually all get axed, or we'll be seeing passive schemes and playcalling for quite some time. Nobody is ever going to consider VanPornstache for a head coaching job, and MM would unlikely be considered for a head gig also. Mularkey I am ok with but not excited about. Honestly I think BVG just isnt an NFL calibre coordinator...he frequently seems a step behind the opposing OC. For all the stuff MM gets about being predictable and frightened, BVG has the same problem to a much greater degree.
UnrealfalcoN
who is in charge of the chargers offense? Norv? that staff might be gone this year
ATLSAGE
I really think that Pioli will fire the guy if the season turns out how it looks it will. They've been mediocre since hes been there with exception to the good season last year. I personally think that Weis helped turn Cassel and that offense around last year. This is the same guy who made Brady Quinn and Jimmy Clausen look like 1st rounders. To me Haley is one of those guys who is much better as a coordinator than as a head coach. He seems way too over his head to me. Edited September 16, 2011 by trendsetter09
