Seems Like The Espn Analysts Likes Us Vs Eagles

The Falcons' offense should play well if they go back to what won them games last year... run the ball. The Eagles have some huge question marks down the middle of their D and they got exposed last week, even with Steven Jackson only playing a few snaps the entire game.

But if the Falcons come out slinging it and have trouble scoring for the second consecutive week, they have no one to blame but themselves.

ESPN gets it unlike over half of this board. They see were a 13-3 team and 8-0 at home last year. they saw us have injuries in 2009 and still have a winning season. they know this isn't a 2007 and older team, they know it is a 3 year old team. they know we battled a #2 seeded team (chicago). they kn ow matt played on new terriotory. they know that the lockout hurt ALL teams (some worse then others). they know we have two things to prove; one is showing the fans they are still an amazing team, and two is to put it to vick and the dream team. they know our defense and ofense is red hot mad they lost last week. they know we still put up points, and defense played well, and matt ryan; on a unkown field, fell an urlacher got a TD. they know matt ryan still went up and down chicago's field but couldn't "finish it". they know chicago played there best and falcons played there worst yet the falcons still got points and marched on that field.

So what do "you" know?

and this is not excusses for last week, this is "facts".

The Eagles have a couple of problems to work out. On D they have great corners and a very good D line but a couple of their linebackers, the WILL and the MIKE, are very suspect. And the FS is a little iffy as well. So a game plan designed to attack those particular weaknesses has a good chance of being effective, and any adjustments the Eagles make to help out these guys will possibly open up things elsewhere.

On O the weakest links are the journeyman RG and the rookie C (the latter will eventually be good I think). The fullback and tight end are nothing special, but then again they don't really need to be. The RB's and WR's are outstanding.

So, the Eagles have a good team but they're still trying to put some of the parts together. They have overhauled the defense and changed systems. They have overhauled the O-line and changed blocking schemes. With the lockout, it is more difficult to make big transitions like this and everyone anticipates growing pains.

Personally i don't think it will be an easy game, for either team.

This pretty much the case.

Some of our most successful plays last week were based off of play action.

Run the ball,...force them to bring a safety up and then go over the top.....

We can still be "explosive" and be a balanced well thought our attack. Which is something around here don't seem to understand,.

I think last week we tried too hard to be what we can be in stead of what we are.

They put a lot of weight on the home record vs good teams. Last season we beat Green Bay, NO, and Baltimore at home. We lose to NO, Pit and the Eagles on the road.

I'm sure that is the biggest factor driving the picks.

i think we lost to nola at home, and beat em in nola,
