sharky
Change the pace. I think the guy has what it takes to get the job done, and further more it would shake up, and wake up some folks. Seriously, do Turner speed up this offense or slow it down? Personally, I would be just fine with it. Just a thought.
Peyton
I don't think he is ready, and Turner just had a great game, with the very notable exception of the fumble.
Robb4242
Do people think before they type anymore? Guess Turner's 10 yards per carry or his 13.3 yards per catch just isn't cutting it.
Theyhateme : )
Oh wow....Turner is solid! He hit the hole with authority on the long gainer. Even if it wasn't a 50 yarder....it was vingate Turner, big back up the middle. That fumble did hurt and it absolutely killed the momentum. Nevertheless...THAT was a good run as well. He's ready! Guess Turner's 10 yards per carry or his 13.3 yards per catch just isn't cutting it.I truely understand what you're saying. We all know that Turner is a power back but would it be wrong if we brought Rogers in as the starter just to change the game plan on different ocassions. I think Rogers has the same temperment of the WR's and we can spread the field better. I'm just asking would it be so wrong if we changed our normal RB set from time to time. Can we please mix it up, starter or not b/c I feel that if you were good enough to make the team then you should be good enough to come in at any given time. First string or last as long as it is for the good of the team. Just three questions.1. Do Turner have that same speed and/or quickness? 2. Who would be better on screen plays if we ever decide to run them?3. Is this why we don't run screen plays?
UK13
Ugh , Turner did nothing to get demoted and plus he had a 100 yards on 10 carries , so why would you want to start a unproving rookie in a what most of us view is a very big game. IronBallsMcGinty
Yes, it would be wrong. /thread
Finally
Good idea. Let's fix the part that isn't broken.
Sheldon Cooper
Turner ran 10 times for 100 yds. I like Turner starting. I do want to see Rodgers as the primary 3rd down back over Snelling though. Snelling needs to give Turner a breather here and there while still providing a check down option on play action when nothing is open downfield. A two yd gain is better than throwing it away. No...but his stats and authority in that game shows an element that we haven't seen from Turner.2. Turner caught some screens. But I'd prefer Quizz on the screens, after he shows what he can do.3. We don't run them because it's not a part of the scheme. OL are just as crucial as the RB catching the ball...QB has to sell it as well. It's not all on the RB. We are not a screen team, otherwise we'd run against aggressive defenses.
KGrillz
Keep Turner as the starter. He did rush for 100yards against a good Bear D. We are going to use Turner to run the football against Eagles.
DirtybyrdGA
I wouldn't mind seeing him start a series, maybe.

I think he can have even better stats than that once we use all of our potential. I know that Turner is listed as our starter but why not change that from time to time. Is it about hurting someone's feeling, or should it be about the team? I think our coaching staff is a little too predictable on the offense and defense. Change do not hurt, it only help those around do better, mentally and physically.
