The Falcon Jedi Knight
I havent seen crap out of Weatherspoon since we drafted him. He was supposed to be this great coverage LBer, and he hasnt covered crap since he got here. He seems more mouth than anything.
MattM12
All I know is those Lbers better be ready to defend the screen passes against the Eagles cause you can bet Shady McCoy will be used in this roll for the EaGLES.Everytime a commentator calls Lesean McCoy "shady" I want to punch a kitten in the face.Shady.. give me strength
MSalmon
I am re-watching the Bears game...and 2 players are sticking out to me.Spoon and Edwards......and not for good reasons. On Forte's screen TD, Edwards was jogging after a very catchable Forte, and on MANY plays Spoon is just jogging after guys he potentially has a shot at.Not to mention the myriad of other disappointing plays from Spoon...completely whiffed on that Forte screen pass, and was washed out of a play due his poor decision making on the off left tackle long Forte run.Very, very disappointing...especially when I see guys like Nich and a defensive tackle 55 yards down the field trying to tackle Hester.I saw that too. But i think overall I simply observed that Atlanta was out played and out game planned. After re-watching game, had we executed and not made stupid mistakes (fumble, missed Spoon tackle (or push) and missed INTs for example) the game would have been a lot closer. Our talent level is there; we are just not cohesive yet. The only true weaknesses I saw were three: 1) Bosher--I don't like this kid at all. And his weaknesses hurt us. But, i'll give him a break as STs are the bears thing--but the iggles are good at STs too! 2) Hawley: He looked so overpowered and weak 3) Baker: The thing with Baker is i don't know if it was simply a dominant bears DLine; or Hawley constantly needing help that hurt him most.I do think these things are possibly correctable (particularly the mistakes)

In the second half, and behind in the scoreboard, peppers owned him. Hawley played bad all game long, as you said, overpowered and weak, reynolds didn't look good too. I think Bosher played an average game. Being his first game in the NFL, he punted well, specially that one in the endzone. The KO were bad, i don't know if it's a coach decision, but he keeps kicking to the sides of the endzone, he just have to kick through the endzone, best way to stop a return. kiwifalcon
Really we are throwing Hawley under the bus after one game...If I'm correct this is Hawley's first regular season start and alot are ready to give up the ghost on this guy already man we got some real loyal fans up in here. Please man we can't have an All Pro in every position but **** give the guy a chance. ki46dinah
So id like to think im an objective Falcons fan, and I call it like I see it.And in the 2nd game(against Philly), Spoon and Edwards both played much better...and played with much more passion.Edwards was getting after it in run support, and obvioulsy made a heads up play on the fumble return...I was hoping though he would slow up at the end and simply punch Jackson in his trachea...o well.Spoon played the run support much better too, and had better flow to his game.I liked what I saw in their effort this week. silentbob1272
Agree, both were much better this week. Jerry also played much better than week

Jerry also played much better than week 1I agree about Perry too...he certainly had some good plays yesterday...hes no Babs, but it is good to get some production from Jerry, and he could be a good complement as the year progresses. Remarkable
Weatherspoon started out both games excellent. Making plays all over the field. He just needs to work on consistency, which is normal for a young player. I feel a lot better about the pick now than I did last year. bayboy87natl
Ray Edwards was getting pushed around no pressure, looked like Jamaal Andersonterrible
