Falcons Biggest Problem

It's not only the Falcon's problem (although I agree they have that issue), it's a lot of today's "ESPN Highlight Reel" era mentality that's all too prevalent in today's football. Just making the tackle won't get you those primetime shots, thus it won't bring the attention needed for sponsors to pony up dough. I've complained about this for a long time. It's nearly already ruined the NBA (he who can dunk and crossover gets all the pres and $$$) and already ("chicks dig the long ball!") messed up MLB cause these cats are growing up not with love of the game, but love of the fame and dollars and highlights aka "the big hit" brings that for defensive players in the NFL.

You take away the extra points and offensive possesions we gave them ala turnovers and the score doesn't look as bad. I think our defense is not our biggest problem, the o-line is. But **** that's like saying what's the bigger problem with your car- the transmission that just went bad, or the rear axle that fell off back at exit 49...
