Padawan Knight
Why isn't this offsides penalty called more often? I watched the Denver Broncos offensive line get destroyed last night by the Raiders front four. I would venture to guess that on 20+% of the snaps, they had at least one defensive lineman lined up in the neutral zone. Then, stupid Trent Dilfer had the gall to praise them for getting "good penetration". Heck, anybody can get good penetration on a line when the start halfway there. The refs finally called them for it twice in the fourth quarter.I've see Abe, Ray, and Kroy line up pretty close to the neutral zone and I don't like it. AKangarooWalksIntoABar
The other way around (illegal formation) is even more common, where guards and tackles are not up on the line.
