I've been on these boards a LONG time and before Vick it was "Cut Chris Chandler," "start Doug Johnson," "Bench Vick and Start Kurt Kittner!" It's always the QB. And, yes, Mora created the "monster Vick," whereas Reid seems to have tapped into his potential. The thing with Ryan--that I believe--is the kid has got nothing to prove. He's won a lot of games. He gets the job done. But, like every QB and every team, you have bad days. And you get your "azz kicked." Chicago whupped our tails. He'll rebound, as will the team. Hopefully, against your "iggles"And, oh yeah, good point: everyone in the NFC south is "0-1"
krammmit
matt ryans biggest problem is getting rid of the ball, he is hesitant and that is a big reason those BIG plays haven't been there. hes not a gunslinger so he kind of takes what he sees. So if we are to get those "big plays" he needs to trust his WR and throw it up once in awhile. he doesnt need to do it every time just once in a while to let the secondary know hes willing to do so. Cam Newton did it with Steve Smith and look what happened, and no im not saying BE cam newton just look what he did, he gave the reciever a chance and Steve Smith made him look good. MattM12
watch the highlights of brady slinging 500+ yds.Beautiful pocket, all the time in the world.Ryan got beat up by the Pack and the Bears because of the OLine. If you can't step up and scan the field, you are in trouble.Hesitant? If your first read isn't open and you have the line in your face, a bad QB tosses one up. Not having McClure in this past week killed us and almost killed Ryan. put Brady in that situation and see how he runs around the field like a little girl. Last time that happened he was out for the season with a knee injury. after that they stacked the OLine with the best available guys and never looked back. I hope we dont need that to happen to us in order for us to fix the dang issue
