The RiseUp Avenger
Overreact much?OVERREACT?! I'm just not talking about today, I'm talking about the last 18 games he has played as a Falcon! Robinson hasn't done a dang thing, not 1 DANG THING since he arrived in the ATL! He just watches the game so much that Blank should charge him admission..... We need to get rid of him and make an example out of him so Ray Edwards will recognise that if he doesn't get his act together the same thing will happen to him

paulitik
Its the scheme, not the talent. Our CBs heads are constantly spinning and we are turning CBs that should be playing Man to soft zone CBs, when it's not for them. We aren't utilizing our players talents. No one knows where their supposed to be and it's pathetic. 4 years in this system and zero improvement in the secondary. We can't keep making the same mistakes and replacing players won't matter, just end with the same results. It's BVG, he needs to pull his head out of his @$$ and fix this NOW. PokerSteve
Other than Grimes, I haven't seen much of anybody in the Falcon's secondary that I would rate as a must-keep.I'll say again that unless Smitty can pull a genie out of a bottle, this secondary is gonna get run out of the Dome by Vick next week and likely in most every week thereafter. Grimes made some great plays in coverage but it would be nice to see Dunta deflect some balls and come up with some turnovers on his own. We are paying to be playing at a Probowl Caliber level but to be honest he is not a probowl CB and I believe even at his peak he is simply above average. The year is young and I think with the release of M. Jenkins and C. Wire that guys know that TD isnt simply paying for average or paying at all for guys that dont produce on Sunday.Im expecting Dunta to have a better overall game next week but I do understand the fans frustration with a 57 million dollar CB who has 1 pick in 18 games while we have a small college undrafted guy on the other side going to the probowl. NewEra
Grimes had a tough time in coverage today too. His career is highlighted by his big plays, not his shutdown skills, kind of like Asante Samuel. Robinson has no excuse for what went wrong today, but you don't just have fits over a guy who has proven talent and a sh*t ton of potential. We know what Dunta's capable of, its just that he hasn't been the amazing corner that we needed him to be. I blame the entire secondary for having a tough night, but Dunta will need to adjust some things. Perhaps the defensive play calling will change a bit after this one.Btw if Brees and Cam Newton are gonna throw 400+ yards against Tramon Williams, Charles Woodson, Nick Collins, Patrick Peterson, Adrian Wilson and Kerry Rhodes, then I don't even want to think about what they're gonna do to our secondary.
