End of the season right ? nope right now tho, today makes my day we get to weave out the true fans and the ones that where on the bus that a ton of people jumped on . I watched this game and became upset and frustrated. We werent making " Explosive plays " down the field , we basically couldnt do much right on any part of the field, and now we got fans saying matt ryan is noodle arm and hes this he cant win this and that . Last time i checked you dont win 33 games in the first 3 years of your career just having a noodle arm and not being any good at anything. I think John Abraham said it the best "I'm glad this happend now and not in the playoffs" that is saying alot they know they messed up hard and they know they got there butts kicked I'm just hoping us true fans are not jumping off and saying this is the end and that you actually have faith in our team. To all the other "atl fans" that decided to bash us right after the game , Goodluck on another team and another board , when were here going nuts cause we are just killing teams in the future and just wheeling off a great record remember, we don't want you back one more thing ! didnt we loose are first game last year ? hmm , than im sure , wait im positive we won 11 of the next 12 games something insane like that . The good news is we wouldn't even be close to the first team in NFL history to be able turn their blocking around as the season wore on. Rarely is the team you see in week 1 the same team you have by week 15 or 16. Getting McClure back is gonna help. Defense seemed to have alot breaks bounce the other way but they (Spoon I'm mostly looking at you)still need to work on their tackling and third down pass defense. Good pressure but Bears offensive line is known to give up sacks so we'll likely learn more on how good the Dline is as the year goes on. GO FALCONS !thank you!i got scared how many posts in here with people just critisizing every aspect of our football team. and all the people who answered and agreed with them, and +1's all over the place.i guess this place got filled with more bandwagoners than expected, and bandwagoners with very bad patience too... one game, and we are suddenly a team that needs to switch the entire team AND coaching staff.and just as you said, last season started out in a very similar fashion, and look were it took us.and it was the Bears this year. they were in the NFC championship game last year, you don't just get there by mistake.good thing this happens now, so they can correct it. One game.. the first one that matters. Is this college football? Does 1 game take you out of title opportunities? No. Get over it. The team will learn from this and move forward.The game was decided by what, 18 points?If matt doesn't lay the ball down (fumble), then it's an 11pt game. Don't go for 2 on the TD, it's a 10 pt game. Spoon make that tackle on Forte, it's a 3 pt game.Point is, it was FIXABLE PROBLEMS that caused the game to be a run away. I expect to see a better team next week. It's ridicules when own fans say they need this and that well obviously mike smith thought we had a pretty good game plan but it just didnt work . Clearly having two new players on the oline doesnt help are oline isnt known for giving up sacks .
