Falcons Coordinators

Falcons coordinators are the only ones in the league who doesn't make in game adjustments. They will stick to their game plan and not circumvent. Did it last season (Philadelphia and GB playoff game to name a few) and now they are doing it again. Just like someone said in another thread, explosive plays just don't apply to the offense. BVG could have taken chances by blitzing more. This could have created turn overs and better field position. No he wants to continue to send 4 knowing it wasn't working. He allowed cutler to warm up instead of getting pressure to him early and often.

Same thing for Mularkey. No tricky plays what so ever. He did nothing to loosing their defense up. I believe Roddy or Julio could've gone deep and either caught one or at least drew a pass interference penalty or two.

1. flea flicker with Turner could of got something going

2. four wide receiver set with Meier throwing a deep bomb to Roddy,Julio, or Harry could of open things up

3. Reverse with Julio

If there is anything that I absolutely abhorred about the play calling today was how the Bears' weakness on defense is their secondary yet Mularkey rarely even went to three WR sets. They just do not seem to know how to use the tools they have on the field at all. On top of that, the game plans today seemed more vanilla than the ones in the preseason.

If the football gods are merciful this will be their last seasons in Atlanta because I'm **** well sure they shouldn't have been kept for this season.

Loosing norwood hurt with the reverse. Even rb screens. Turner is a tank and is slow to get off pass plays. Snelling is better at that.

But i agree. We are predictable and when playing from behind our scary play is handing off to turner. When we have the lead it works, we manage clock. But from behind its silly when the D is sitting there watching everything in front of them.
