Abe
Look it's no secret that we had a terrible game. The bright side is that we have plenty of time to right the ship. We are still a great team. We just needed a rude awakening. Some guys had a horrible game and there were a few bright spots. I believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. I'm definitely not going to mail it in. We never play two games in a row like this. We also have a couple of good players that may be up to speed next week too. I'm already looking forward to next Sunday night. I know our players have pride and I expect a much better game. Our team will not give up and I hope our fans will not either. If we can stay clean at home, that's a 12-4 record. If we lose one at home, we'll need to pick up one of the tougher road games to make up for it. Thiccolas Cage
The time for improvement expired with the offseason. This is the time to WIN!!! No more improvement unless we start chopping dead weight

Abe
The dead weight, and easy to see deficiencies, were addressed when we brought in the new secondary additions. Once we get those guys up to speed it will help to shore up Owen's and others issues.Todd will get our o-line back up to par. Decoud will progress or lose some playing time. Hopefully Babs will return and Corey as well.I hate to say this but we missed Peterson out there. The point is let's see what happens after this wake up call. I'm curious to see how well we rebound. It was good to see Abe still producing and Matt still pushing the team.

xXShadyfalconXx
Good things coming from this game....Turner looked greatAbraham is a monsterJulio is going to be amazing but needs passes coming his way Gonzo is still GonzoAnd Grimes is still a ballhawk.Yeh overall the team played ****** but I do think that things can be fixed; hopefully in time for the Eagles game
Delete_Me
agreed - if some things can be cleaned up, they had a lot of opportunities today that just didn't go their way ... possible picks, turnovers, etc... I do think the playcalling needs rehashing if we hope to beat NO, or GB
PokerSteve
Mike Vick is going to come in here and lay waste to this empty shell of a defense like Sherman marching through the dome with a torch. Best hide the women and children because the Eagles game is going to make the Bears debacle look like a huge victory by comparison. And no I don't like Mike Vick in the least and am sorry he's back in the NFL. It could happen, but passing wise Vick wasn't the greatest against an avg rams secondary. He did do well in the scrambling department though. Hopefully BVG has a good game plan set for the game. Our team will not give up and I hope our fans will not either. While its true its "only"the first game of regular season.its also true ,that this team looked just like they did in the playoffs last year.....cant hang with a good team.yes we lost the first game of last season, then won the division, then couldnt hold our oppnents jock strap in the ONLY playoff game they had last year.thats not something to brag about if u ask me.we looked sloppy in the preseason, now to start off season, we looked aweful all except ,micheal turner and john abraham.next week is a loss, go ahead and chaulk that one . We wont fix all these problems in time to face another good team. We will be lucky if we ONLY lose 6 games this year....look at the schedule......we wont be the packers, probably wont beat the saints in either game, wont win next week, and today....it dont look good for this team. They need Huge improvments.....preseason is over with...time to step up or stay at home!im still a falcons fan, but to say no reason to be upset and telling it like it is about this overhyped team is unfair. They played aweful not only todya, but this attitude and lack of action is going back to the playoff game they chocked in! They have had pleanty of time seince then to get it together! Vick will tear that wrak zone defense apart next week, wait n c!

I really don't want to go to work tomorrow... And Jones is going to be great if he gets the ball. 5 catches for 71 yards isn't bad, and he nearly broke for 6 on his last catch. One juke to the right and he was free. Thing that bugged me most on D was the weak zones we were using. I understand that you're supposed to be in a specific area for the zone D to work, but when there are no WR in your zone, go cover someone. So many 3rd and longs were converted because we were in horrible zone coverages.
Abe
Watching Dez go over Cromarti just now in the Dallas game makes me want to see us give Julio and Roddy the same opportunities. We need to let our guys go up and get the ball. I'm hoping we just let it loose next Sunday.
