Both. Forte gets receptions and that's one play we have always given up yards on. But we should put up points on Cutler. Our rush d is stout though, so I don't see Forte getting too many rushing yards. He'll make up for it in recieving though. The Bears are bound to score some, I don't see us shutting them out, and Forte would more than likely get their score, especially with Barber out. KC's defense is not great. I expect ours to put up more in FF.

I have a tough decision too. Lions D vs Bucs or Jets D vs Cowboys? Leaning towards Jets since Bucs have a conservative offense while Romo can turn the ball over. I could also see Dallas scoring more than the Bucs though.

Dallas Clark vs Hou (no Peyton) or Gonzo vs Chi? Leaning towards Dallas Clark. Chi has good LBers and I could see Tony having a slow day with all of our other weopons. I could also see Tony being a big player in the redzone though.

NEVER start a defense that is going against one of your RB/WR or QB. You are only hurting yourself. Start the KC defense.

So you're saying that just because he has Matt Forte the Falcons D can't score more than the Cheifs??? I'd start the Falcons D, it doesn't matter who your running back is, start the D you think will score the most points because that's what matters.

That's where you are wrong, 90% of the time (depending on the setup of the league) a running back is going to net you more points than a defense ever will. Not to mention, KC is playing Buffalo today, and have a higher projected points total than the Falcon's D. Forte also has almost 3 times the projected total over what the Falcon's D does.

One thing I have learned in fantasy: Don't let Homerism or hate guide your decisions if you want to win.

I agree with your post on principle, but I do think the Bills can put up some points on KC. Fitzpatrick was pretty good and I do not have confidence in KC's defense. I think the Bills are more likely to put up more points. Fred Jackson was pretty good too. He's old and might not be a stud as the season continues. But he could be good week 1.

You are right, The Bills can potentially have a big day, but I just don't see it happening. I don't have confidence in KC defense either, but I have WAY LESS confidence in Buffalo's offense.

Bottom line: If this was MY fantasy team. I would sit the Falcon's D, and start Forte and KC's D. Also look to see what other Defense's are on waivers. My sleeper Defense for this week: The Texans

Any advice on Jets D vs Dal or Lions D vs Bucs? Dallas Clark or Tony G?

That's a tough call between those Defenses. I would probably start the Lion's D only because TB just doesn't have the receivers that Dallas has. I have a feeling TB is going to try to run the ball a ton and are just going to get stopped by that sick front 4.

The only reason I don't like the Jet's D for this game is that Revis is going to be on Austin, and Cromartie is going to be on Bryant. I see Bryant burning Cromartie for most of the game, and Revis having to pick up the slack.

Now on the TE: This is another tough call. Of the two, Tony G is the safer pick. But Dallas Clark has a lot more upside if you are willing to roll the dice. We don't know how much Kerry Collins is going to look to Clark. MY guess is: A LOT. We know what we are getting with Gonzo. I don't see big Tony getting a lot of looks from Matty Ice this game. I read somewhere that last year, the Bear's D gave up the least amount of yards to TEs than any other team, Ill see if I can find where I read it.
