jm_falcons
So I review the 1st half of the Falcons pre season games and get this. According to the play by play stats from yahoo....the Falcons gave up 99 yards in 45 carries. That is quite stout imo. In fact...if you exclude the 4th and most meaningless pre season game against Baltimore...the Falcons run D gave up only 53 yards on 32 carries. Thats 1.65 yds per carry.I tell you what...This Falcon run D is going to be very very tough to run on. And with the Bears weak OL...Mr Forte is going to get stuffed in this 1st game. Let's just hope the pass D and pass rush will be there.Falcons 16 Bears
Danishfalcon
As long as five-o is there to patrol the middle, i believe we will be stout against the run. I'm so amped for the game tonight! Too bad i will most likely catch the game on a very questionable PIRATED VIDEO IS ILLEGAL.
PokerSteve
There is nothing wrong with the Falcons run D or pass D on first and second down. Our problem is stopping the other team from getting 18 yards on 3rd-and-15. Until we get that fixed our stats on stopping the run will be pretty meaningless. Falcon Fantom
Great stats. Our run D has always been good. Even last year. If we can stuff the run and make them one dimensional, then its game over.
Atlsport
It's not good to try and project from the preseason, but I really liked what I saw defensively against Pitt that first half, at least on the ground. I don't think there's much doubt that the big question mark is our pass D.
