Hey guys.

I just recently moved to new orleans for work. I have yet to find a decent sports bar in this town. Are there any fellow falcon's fans out here?

If so please let me know where a good bar is!

Hey Tylah...don't know about Falcons fans in New Orleans or where they might go, but for a sports bar in general, you could try the Fox and Hound on Clearview Pkwy in the Elmwood Shopping Center, which is basically a large strip mall located in the New Orleans suburb of Metairie. They have a pretty extensive selection of food and drink, and quite a number of tv's...if you are in New Orleans proper, just take I-10 west out of town to the Clearview exit, then take Clearview south for about 3-4 miles, and it will be on your right...hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will probably be there tomorrow. I'm living near the quarter here. Nothing in the city?

Glad to help out. Of course, almost any bar in and around the French Quarter will have tv's tuned into various sporting events, but as I live out in the 'burbs, I am more familiar with the places outside of the city limits...I'm sure you would be able to find a few near where you are that would have the Falcons/Bears game on tomorrow, but it would be hard for me to tell you specifically which ones. Now, I am almost certain that Fox and Hound will have it though...of course, before you make the trip, it would be best to give them a call to be sure...

Welcome to New Orleans. There are plenty of bars in New Orleans with NFL ticket. However, the game will be showed on Fox (ch 8) so you can go anywhere and watch it. I live in the garden district so I usually go to Rendevouz or Traceys to watch the Saints away games. They are both located on Magazine st in Uptown New Orleans. And I know there is usually at least one Falcon fan at Rendevouz hanging with a lonely Buc fan:)

But ask around in the quarter and you will find plenty of good places. They also just opened a sportsbar in the Central Business District (Happys or something like that). I will be at Rendevouz, which is a decent bar although it is a little too smokey for me.

Have fun and Saints fans really aren't that bad.

Hooters is playing all the games, but the TVs might not be as big as some of the other places depending on which location you go to. Are you planning to wear any Falcons gear in public? Just kiddng, nobody will mess with you other than a few playful remarks
