Banned
As long as they don't kick the ball to Devin Hester the Falcons should be fine on Sunday. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a dolt who hasn't watched our special teams play.
FalconinPA
And here I was thinking that you were gonna say score more points.
vel
I don't think he will get much opportunity on Kickoff due to them being so deep unless Hester wants to go for a 108 yarder (still don't understand TD drafting a kicker with the new kick off rule) but PR is where it will be crucial

Also, Bosher doesn't kick the ball as deep as some other kickers in the NFL unless he's hiding something we have not seen. Honestly though it would be a shame if Week 1 of the 2011 Regular Season for the Atlanta Falcons became a highlight reel for Devin Hester's HOF career. I hope after cobbs return, teams are going to expect a return on every kickoff so they dont get caught looking
Butudontseeme™
Kick it out of bounds! We can let them start on the 40. But seriously, we gotta rush the passer successfully and not let cutler take all day. He will get trigger happy and make mistakes if he gets hit a few times
PokerSteve
I don't know if it's the "one thing" we have to do to win, but one very important thing in the equation is doing a much better job of tackling. We've looked insanely hapless in wrapping up and bringing down people on the first hit. Some of the Keystone Kops-type missed tackles in the Saints game and the GB game last year had me looking for an air-sick bag to throw up in. I said he won't get much opportunity to return them. The ball will be deep in the endzone if not out of it. If Hester returns it, he is trying to go 108 essentially. The odds are against him coming out of the endzone that deep. You see even after that return, they told Cobb to kneel it. He didn't get the green light to keep doing it. You don't know how far Bosher really can kick yet. I doubt he was kicking it 100% in preseason to assess our coverage unit. Wait until his first kickoff to pass judgement. I think him being drafted means he has a pretty good boot. Kickers aren't drafted unless you don't want to miss out on him (power or accuracy or both). Plus, our coverage unit was made of a bunch of guys that aren't even on the team any more.
Big Zee
I think the most important stat that will determine the winner is turnover. Lot of people forget Chicago won their division last year. They're inconsistent on offense but they are solid on defense. If we win the turnover battle, I think we'll be in a good spot to win. 84White32Quizz
The outside conditions will be a factor in the kicking game but vs Baltimore Bosher showed he had plenty of leg by bombing one out of the endzone.
lystrodom
I'm pretty sure Hester isn't the kick returner any more, actually. Johnny Knox has taken over that duty. He's still the PR, though.
ltstorm2
Shutting down Forte in the running and passing game is paramount. Then not letting Hester and Knox run through our zone defense for big plays.
The Falcon Jedi Knight
There is never just 1 thing you have to do to beat any team. Its always a combination of things. However, if there is 1 Thing you can do to beat Most Teams it would be knocking their starting QB out of the game. That usually works. But I remember we played the Bears in Chicago one time, and we knocked Kyle Orton out. Then Grossman came in and he beat us.
