Colston broke his collarbone

WWLTV.com reports Randy Moss is a "player of interest" for the Saints, and was spotted at the team headquarters on Saturday.

With Marques Colston expected to miss over a month with a broken collarbone and Lance Moore week-to-week with a groin injury, the Saints have a need at receiver, and have apparently set their sights high. Moss is said to be amendable to un-retiring if "the right opportunity presented itself," and that's certainly something the high-octane and contending Saints would seem to represent. Stay tuned.

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping what you wrote is true.

They are but there is no one on the roster that is the big third down guy over the middle. Meachem hasn't filled that role but he have to now.

p.s. four weeks seems very hopeful. A collarbone and having to hit the ground and take hits? More like six weeks...

Yeah I realize that, I'm just poking fun at PY and his circle jerk love for the Taints....

The hits just keep on coming. Little known fact about the Saints WR corps - it's deep and talented. Throwing the ball is still on the table.

...

Yeah, cause there's no drop off from Colston & Moore to Arrington & Roby.

Sucks for the Colston and the Saints, although forcing the Saints to run more might benefit the Saints in the long run.
