I have a feeling this isn't going to end well for either side.He’s either confident or crazy, or maybe a little bit of both. Whatever the case, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount gave Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh a little extra motivation for Sunday's season opener when he wrote on Facebook he was planning on “runnin right through” him this weekend. “Almost game time, son!” Blount wrote on his Facebook page, per BucsCentral.com. “Let’s get this!! Aye Suh! Figured I should give ya a heads up and let you know I’m runnin right through you Sunday. Practice all you want but you can’t stop LGB.” LGB had a fine rookie season. He rushed for 1,007 yards, scored six touchdowns and had 110 yards on 15 carries against the Lions. But the man who punched a Boise State player in college gets another strike for bad judgment for trash-talking the most destructive defensive player on the planet. Last year, Suh tackled Marion Barber by the hair and nearly ripped Jake Delhomme's head off just for wearing the wrong uniform. Maybe he will get ol cheapshot to get so mad all he does is concentrate on the run, or maybe even do something to get kicked out of the game. Not the smartest thing in the world tho. I like confidence in players.good for him if he says it on the field..I prefer trash talk after you've already done it thoughbut I like that he acts like he actually cares about his own play. so many players refuse to talk about personal goals, and crediting yourself for something nowadays gets you more backlash than committing a rape homicide..fans need to get over it, these guys are human..he's a RB he SHOULD care about how he does when he takes on tacklers, and recognize his ability without needing to wait around for people to compliment himplus I hate when players just say "we won! we won!" after a horrible performance, I think "you were horrible"..a player in that situation should just be glad they won despite him, but work on getting better and not act like everything's fine.as for what Blount said..well he isn't running over Suh..and he does have to recognize the limit of his abilities..when taking on Suh he needs to try a different method if he wants to make yards while being wrapped up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Big Bubba Posted September 10, 2011 Share Posted September 10, 2011 I miss the in-division back and forths some of our players used to have.Was it Sapp and Jenkins that constantly talked sh1t to each other? Smith and Hall had some pretty good trash talk back in the day.Now we have stuff like White, not really calling out certain players (from what I've seen, if I'm missing something, let me know), just making bold predictions for his team, or, downing a rival team.
