This makes me anticipate the day I attend my very first Falcons game. I have never been to an NFL football game. People say it's very fun. I plan on attending this year's first home game.

you're going to love it. all of the home games are fun, but the primetime games are even better. the atmosphere is completely different in primetime.

just make sure you get there early because traffic usually sucks and it can be tough to find parking.

Ok, I appreciate it! Fortunately, I can ride Marta b/c I live very close to the College Park rail station. It'll take me no time to get there. I just don't want to be one of the ones getting there after kickoff. I hate missing kickoff even when I watch the game at home or at a bar.

Rise Up 2.0, huh? Man, we'd better bring it.

Actually, I just want our guys to practice Wrap Up 1.0, as in wrap up when making a tackle. I surely hope the coaching staff is stressing this. I want to see our guys stop it with the arm-tackling and settling for the forearm-leading body shots thinking that's all it takes to bring an opponent down. Thomas DeCoud is the poster boy for this. Grimes is one of our best tacklers one-on-one. I guess he has to be since he usually goes against WRs bigger than he is.

I ride Marta and I live outside of Auburn, AL ... I'm from East Point / College Park so I drive to the East Point station and pay my $1.75 ... Ride up to Five Points and jump on the West Bound train ... Go over one stop and get off at Phillips Arena / Georgia Dome ... Exit the train and go to RIGHT !!! They will try to tell you to go to the left but DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM !!! They do it every game and I don't know why ... They try to make you walk a mile ... Just go up the escalators which brings you to Falcons' Landing ...

WHEN LEAVING THE DOME ... Do not get on the MARTA train that you got off of @ the Dome ... It's much easier and faster to walk to Five Points ... It's only a few blocks away and takes 5-10 minutes to walk there ... ATL P.D. will have the roads blocked off for you so it's easy to get there ... If you stand at the Dome's station your going to have to wait 30minutes to an hour to get on the train just to go one stop and transfer to the SouthBound train ... Just walk over to Five Points ... Jump on the S.B. Train and get off at East Point

Really easy and I've done it for 5 years now ... I used to park but it's easier to ride MARTA and cheaper ... Pointless for me to pay $30 for parking just for two people that aren't going to tailgate ...

If you need any help PM me ...

Wow, man! It is the little details and knowledge of the nuances like this that will save me a whoooooole lot of heart ache getting to and from the game. I really, really, really, appreciate the tips and "tricks of the trade".
