elmack
I still don't think we match up well with Green Bay. Having vets like Hayden and Sanders gives us a chance, but they have too many weapons to defend. The Saints defense ain't no slouch, and they are carving these guys up.We could try to outscore them but that's a tough task too. Tonight I saw Aaron Rodgers make throws that Ryan would not attempt to make or he would throw the ball away. I'm as big of a Falcon homer as anyone else, but based on tonight, I gotta call it like I see it.

Adam25
Its true we dont but im guessing against the packers we do the old "control the game clock thing" meaning pund the ball and hope to keep there offense off the field . If there not on the field they cant school us lol - also i think we have a better defense than the aints, They are barley getting any pass rush all tho there run d looked good . I think our defense surprises alot of people this year the saints dont have two pass rushers even in this game lol will smith is out on suspension . I'm not saying the packers are bad at all im just saying the saints arnt as good as everyone thinks there going to be .p.s Saints fans aint to easy to stop the packers from putting up a 40 burger eh lol . Nicholas now starting. Secondary is much improved with the additions of Hayden and Sanders. THe offense now has the potential to quick strike and also we can drag out the clock. We can beat them. Geez louise lets grab our GNADS and man up. They are mere mortals like us. Edited September 9, 2011 by Falcon Fantom

Peyton
Nobody matches up well with Green Bay, but I think the Falcons should go ahead and play their games this year anyway, just to see what happens.
Taijis
Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees are elite quarterbacks, they are amazing at what they do. Matt Ryan is a great quarterback, but not quite at the elite level IMO. If you watch Aaron Rodgers, during every play he is extremely poised, he tries to get every yard possible in the safest manner. Drew Brees is slightly shaky tonight from what I've seen, but he still played very well considering all of the blitzes the packers were calling.IMO I don't think the falcons are completely disciplined enough in the wide receiver and Defensive end corps. If you look at at the packers and saints teams, they are poised and continue to expel maximum effort every play no matter what. I personally don't think we are at THAT level yet, but we are extremely close. I personally just think this is due to overall experience though, we have the talent, not the experience. If we played each of these teams tonight, I say we could win both of them. Packers have the edge on us and we are even with the saints.

bradael
LMAO the aints d is at best middle the pack probably somewhere 16-21 overallActually the Packers gave up nearly 100 more yards and nearly half a yard per play more than the Saints did. The field conditions sucked. Everyone was slipping, even on the extra point attempts. The only real difference in this game was the Colston fumble. Not much to take away from this game because of that except that it was a great game. 11 of the Saints' remaining games are in Domes so they won't have to worry about the field conditions. 3 of the 4 outdoor games are against rookie QBs. falconidae
Falcons beat both those teams last year, and the falcons got better over the off season. So yeah, we can beat them.
The O.D.B
IMO, GB,Us + NO are all on the same level. I believe as a team we are better than NO and almost even with GB. The only difference is the confidence and swagger the ring brings. when we have it well rise above both.

If we have trouble stopping an offense, we can slow the game down and still be effective. The taints can't do that. They can only go one speed on offense & their D isn't that great so when they play other good offenses, they are going to have problems. bradael
Mark Ingram's ineffectiveness was also a difference. He's not what they thought he was. Gets stoned at the line of scrimmage way too much.He wasn't ineffective. The Saints had to abandon the run early. They were down 14 after just two offensive plays. The only times Mark ran the ball for the most part was on short yardage plays. Get more than 1 or 2 yards in a goaline drill and you're lucky.Enjoy the Saints loss while ya'll can, but tonight was a great game. Seems how quick some people here forget how the Falcons lost to Dennis Dixon in week one last year while the Saints won their opener. Road games against good teams are not easy. raysnill1
Nobody matches up well with Green Bay, but I think the Falcons should go ahead and play their games this year anyway, just to see what happens.Green Bay running game really opened up their offense. I think we finally match up with their receivers, but the thing you gotta realize is that if Mularkey truly has opened up the playbook we can score at will on them too. I believe we can get to Rodgers, we just gotta get him down when we do. I saw absolutely nothing to be afraid of from both teams tonight
Peyton
I tell you what I am going to remember the most about tonight's game. The OFFENSIVE MASTERMIND GENIUS of the New Orleans Saints digging deep into his bag of tricks on the last play and coming up with.......a dive play. LOL. Master Exploder
Mark Ingram's ineffectiveness was also a difference. He's not what they thought he was. Gets stoned at the line of scrimmage way too much. That's because the Saints interior line was atrocious tonight. Can't blame that on Ingram, ADP couldn't have scored on that last play. I'm still trying to figure why they decided to call that play with the game on the line... it literally hadn't worked all night.
Peyton
The Packers looked really good tonight. But guess what? If your team wants to win the Super Bowl, they generally have to beat some really good teams to do so.The good news is that they don't give out the Lombardi trophy in September. theDIRTYcode
They're not scoring 40+ a game, and if they do, there is no stopping them from going to Indianapolis anyway. Rogers pocket awareness is simply incredible, and he's a master of the back shoulder throw which is almost impossible to defend. Best course of action, take a 15 yarder early...
