Guest jb aka johnnybuc
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are poised to have the NFL’s youngest roster when the regular season kicks off. According to this chart (which was based on moves as of Saturday night) by NFC West colleague Mike Sando, the Bucs are young in every area. They have the youngest offense, defense and specialists, and that pretty much assures them of staying as the league’s youngest team on opening day, unless they go out and sign a bunch of 40-year-olds. The Carolina Panthers aren’t far behind the Bucs. They are the league’s third-youngest team. After the Bucs and Panthers there’s a big gap before the Saints and Falcons. When it comes to New Orleans and Atlanta, we’ll put them in terms of how they rank among the league’s oldest teams. The Saints are No. 16. The Atlanta Falcons are No. 5 among the league’s oldest teams.

Guest jb aka johnnybuc
If you look at the different rankings Carolina is the 7th OLDEST in special teams! WTF is up with that? Who wants a bunch of old geezers running downfield on kick & punt returns???????? That makes absolutely NO sense, which is another reason I'm predicting they only win 2 games this season. falconsd56
No one thinks it indefinitely.......But it is open for FAR longer then you want to admit.Again we have 3 or 4 vets who are over 30 that skew the numbers like Abe,Gonzo, and Mcclure. But the rest of the team is nearly as young as your bucsRyan just turned 26of our starting Olinemen this week ALL FIVE......are 27 or younger.Only one of our wrs are older then 26 ( Granted he is our best )On defense 1/2 of our Dline is 27 or younger all 3 of our LB spots are 27 or youngerand 1/2 of our secondary are under the age of 27 ( With Grimes slightly older who just turned 28 a couple months ago)And that same core of players that are nearly as young as the bucs ( within a year or so average)Are the same ones that have whooped the bucs azz 5 out of the last 6 times they have played including the last 4 strait with "joshie poo".I do find it funny that you like to talk about how the falcon fans feel entitled that we will improve we went 13-3 last year and mock us. Yet you sit there are babble about how the bucs are so young and they should improve and blah blah blah Why?? ONLY because the bucs are "younger".So yeah the bucs might be slightly younger on average.......But the falcons are clearly better....and sorry to say for you that that FACT is not changing any time soon. falconsd56
Exactly WFW.It just hurts him to know that the current core starters and contributors for the falcons are going to be kicking the bucs azzes for the next 3-4 years at the minimum. Not really. They have 10 rookies on this year's roster. Those guys had nothing to do with last year's success.

As great as he has been and as much as Dallas secondary needs help, the guy is still 30 yO and sooner or later, that step is going to be lost. If Dallas was one player away this year, I could have understood getting him, but they're not so it would not have made sense in the big picture to pay that much for one guy. SyCo
My feelings aren't hurt and I have no clue what you're talking about with the mods. The fact is you're a **** troll that acts like a legit poster in order to gain favor around here. You start crap like this stupid thread, then want to put the blame on the Falcons fans for what ever crap you just made up.BTW, I would love it if you got banned for life, Smokey.0-4stop acting like a little girl. i was going to dispute jb's post, but I don't want to get lumped in with this garbage. there's probably some teen chat rooms you can lurk around if you want to do this kind of stuff. pencilpusher. just because
did they factor in the coaches age? Because having an 86 YO coach would be dragging the Falcons WAY down. They could have a couple of toddlers starting at WR and still rank oldest if you toss in Qtips age.
