SacFalcFan
Great gameplan, but it sounds like Bobo is planning on sticking with the no huddle, shotgun formations. I'll say one thing for Bobo, he has some brass, because if that same offense shows up for South Carolina McG may have to hire body guards for him. Murray may leave the field on a stretcher.do you think bobo is going to publicly tell you what our gameplan is man? guys you all need to stop using game week comments as anything, but coach speak.. such as it was execution why we loss.. mike smith, dan reeves, and pretty much most coaches use that coach speak after a loss. i ignore that stuff as i do when bobo is asked about our game plan and what we are doing on saturday.. usce has to prepare for multiple offenses we might run on saturday and they don't have 10 days to do it this time. Mr Pickle1
We lose by about 17-20, IMO. Hope to be wrong. Confidence in this staff is completely shattered.
JasonHairyDawg
looks like David Ching from ESPN asked to interview Thomas Brown and was told that no member of the S&C staff would be available for interview the entire season.https://twitter.com/#!/ESPNChing/status/111199970668974080 Edited September 7, 2011 by JasonHairyDawg

Shouldn't be hard, I think it's on a Waffle House napkin. But seriously, Spurrier has emphasized the Georgia game forever (and at 2 different schools)... I think he's probably slamming visors all over Columbia this week trying to figure out what we'll do offensively, cuz intentionally or not (probably unintentionally) we showed very little to plan against last Saturday but enough to feel uncomfortable about. We can be as ticked as we want that we had a poor offensive game against Boise, but with the talent we have I wouldn't sleep on planning a defense against this team. Crowell, Mitchell, Orson, Marlon Brown, Murray not to mention Boykin and Branden Smith potential... you don't just go on the road and beat an offense with that talent by being there. Billy Ocean
Given how thin we know our OL depth is and how sluggish and heavy they looked last week, I just don't get the hurry-up. It'll be at least 10 or 15 degrees warmer this week too.
iQue
Neither line looked particularily good last week, hopefully the position coaches get things a wee bit corrected.
scottp12
Ive just adapted a wait and see approach. It was the first game and we saw how bad we really were and stuff to fix. Granted a lot of teams like lsu and usf and boise and baylor were actually prepared and ready to win, but there might still be hope for us winning the east, especially if we win saturday Edited September 7, 2011 by scottp12
Billy Ocean
this Steve Spurrier quote about Boise State on Tuesday was interesting: “Boise, you have to admire the way their kids play. They played fundamentally sound, very few mistakes, hustled and gave it their best shot. When they jog down the field, they look like Wofford or Furman or those teams." Not good fellas. That is without a doubt 2 of our best 4 defensive players. Scary not good news

SacFalcFan
I'm honestly not sure. I would assume that is the reason but I haven't seen anything saying that specifically.the coaches will give very little info out on guys who are hurt or hurting. unless it's an obvious case like alec and kwame for instance they won't devulge much. they have been pretty secretive on a lot of stuff and it's game week and they need to be (just like with rambo for instance). there was a time today where a media member was trying to video record something in practice and even though it was okay for them to be there our coaches stopped that from happening. it would not surprise if ray may have not been ready physically all the way to play and they held him out.
