I want Good Coordinators
Week one in chicago....not an overly long plane trip....going on the road the first week no big deal because nothing tremendously tiresome or stressful going on prior...all the time in the world to gameplan for them......the bears offensive line has given up crazy sacks....cutler is the guy that if you get him rattled will make tons of mistakes.....briggs is being a baby again....forte is trying to fight for a contract...many distractions....roy williams drama at wr and possible and probable demotion....not really any good wr and therefore our secondary will get into a confidence groove....line sucks therefore our D line will feast and get into a confidence groove....I think our team feasts on this relatively bad team and we get in a groove week one which goes unnoticed but can be tremendously helpful and give your team the confidence boost it needs to play great football right out of the gates. I cant think of another team that Id rather play week one..nothing tremendous on offense, nothing tremendous on defense, and a turnover happy offense to get our D in the groove we could use. Also its a road game week one so we get to take that momentum into our home opener which could be another plus......all around im excited to play these guys......much better than opening on the rd in pittsburg like last year....and should kick start a great season with much anticipated new weaponry to try out......lets gooooooo Start off on top in the NFC SOUTH

The Falcon Jedi Knight
Dont think this is going to be an easy game. Its not easy to win at Soldier Field, esp. opening day. Remember everyone thought Pittsburgh was going to be easy facing their 3rd string QB.

Atlfanstckndenver
But as to the post i agree that this game should not be taken that lightly. This team is inconsistent but has good players. I think we should win it but it should not be easy by any means.

Finally
So we have had a limited offseason and you would pick the team that won the NFC North last year at THEIR home for a season opener? You need to put down the crack pipe and stop hitting the new topic button each time a new stupid thought crosses your brain. Can we win it? Yes.Are there a number of teams that would be a softer start? DEFINITELY

DEFINITELYIm more scared of Vernon davis, crabtree, morgan, and gore than cutler, a **** OL, a punt returner, a midget named knox that got the job because of default from Roy the overweight beer gut receiver, we can score our points on anyone...we can definatley stop the bears better than we can stop the niners and its hard to win in candlestick, lot further to travel, time difference, heat, if you said the bills, id be on board...i think sf is going to be alright this year...and they got lucky last year...i say they come in 3rd in the division this yearNow dont take that out of context...because there rb is awesome Forte, but we matchup well against run, especially the speedier runners....and our secondary gets beat..so why not enjoy playing no proven #1 receivers with a mistake prone qb, or you could play the best TE, two good wideouts, and one of the best rbs in the game in extreme heat after a 6 hour flight.......Ill take chicago....and go home...oh yeah and they picked up some nice additions in SF this offseason Edited September 3, 2011 by Julio+Roddy+Harry=:)

I am not actually an English professor.'Irrelevant to the point first off, but the more I annoy you the better...with that said....to be the best you have to beat the best...which factors into why this is a great opening day game for us...its a good enough test, yet easy enough to win and get the momentum necessary on the road......their team is mistake prone and gives up sacks, and turnovers....the gave up nine sacks in one preseason game already...its a good o line to get edwards, jerry and abe in the momentum for the season...to get our db's hunting for the ball. and they have barely any offense....there d isnt what it used to be and they have diva drama going on in the sidelines and offseason...so yeah, im happy we play them.......our team is much improved over the team that beat them last year and there team has lost some of their spunk.....cutler is cutler he will fail...trust me.....if the pressure is there, we smoke them, they turnover the ball and we ruin their season....youll see, and then ill say I told you so...............................................again

I want Good Coordinators
ps their team and lovie arent that great..they had the after effects of the great defense assembled prior to lovie and their defensive coordinator.....a few years ago when they were in the superbowl...however thats now since worn off.....it take 3 years for what a coach is trying to do to blossom into what his plans were in the beginning and its safe to say that they have gone further downhill every year......the old regimes players, playbooks, schemes have since worn off and now they are who we thought they were, and we will never let them off the hook.....lol
Lou_Dog
I dont understand why everyone constantly negs the OP. I could be reading him wrong but he seems like a true fan to me. He might say some things that some dont like but I dont think he ever goes overboard. Seems to me like he is just speaking his piece and getting attacked for it everytime.
