Knew Strickland was gone.

No real surprises other than Wire, but I hoped Woods would make it .

I think we'll pick Coy back up at some point. He's a great STer.

Hopefully Bear makes the practice squad. I see him as a Coy Wire type of guy. Not all star but cant help out in a pinch. Plus, Bear is on of the coolest guys you'll ever meet.

I think some of these guys were released first so if they clear waivers they go on PS the other 10 may be there in case someone does not clear waivers.

I disagree. I think the 10 they're holding are the ones they want on the practice squad. 8 of the 10, but a couple might get picked up.

I agree with you

However I think some of the guys we cut today will bake the PS as well because a few of the guys left are ineligible if they get cut.

DT Darryl Richard, cut by NE, looked good in the pre-season.

The roster is coming into focus with my best guess at the final 53 being

QB-Ryan, Redman

WR-White, Jones, Douglas, Meier, Weems

TE-Gonzalez, Kelly, Palmer

RB-Turner, Snelling, Rodgers, Smith

FB-Mughelli

OL-Baker, Blalock, McClure, Reynolds, Clabo, Svitek, Jackson, Hawley, Johnson, Romberg

I think Romberg will be cut and Wilson re-signed when McClure gets back.

DL-Abraham, Peters, Babinaux, Edwards, Biermann, Walker, Jerry, Sidbury, Matthews

LB-Weatherspoon, Lofton, Nicholas, Peterson, Dent, Adkins

CB-Robinson, Grimes, Hayden, Owens, Franks, Walls

S-Moore, DeCoud, Sanders, Shillinger

ST-Bryant, Bosher, Zelenka

As long as Bear Woods has been cut, all is well. He's not even a poor man's Clay Matthews. In fact, he's a just a lookalike to Clay Matthew's second cousin, if he was homeless.

He makes me think that I can grow out a whisker or two, pierce my nipple, put a cheap generic tat on my bicep, and play linebacker on a semi-pro team in Dubai.

Image is everything.
