dardan
Let's just hope Hawley, Romberg, et al., can hold it down until he returns.
DSG0728
It's definitely gonna hurt us, the guy is an amazing center, but we'll be alright.
Dominique is Manufique
biggest problem will be protection schemes called out in mcclure's absence. it could be an issue with defenses trying to disguise blitz schemes etc....let's hope hawley or romberg fill in well. vel
I don't think it will be that bad. They don't have outrageously good DTs so Hawley should be fine. Peppers is the main man on that line. Nothing really intimidating outside of him. They won't be able to blitz much with the personnel we have outside now in Roddy, JJ, and HD unless they want to get burned. FalconFanSince1970
Many around here have been trying to run McClure off for years. Nearly a decade.Through four regimes. The old saying is "careful what you pray for, you just might get it".Well folks we got it.Good luck to Hawley and Romberg. They will have to make line calls then defend heat coming at them and a rookie OG next to them. Most defenses will be targeting them. Trust me on this one folks.Matt? Stay healthy my friend.
Lord Sarcomere
I'm pretty concerned to say the least. McClure is an awesome center. Hawley has looked downright lost at C thus far in preseason.
DSG0728
Hawley has looked downright lost at C thus far in preseason.Exactly why we brought in the seasoned veteran to fill the spot while Hawley gets a little more experience under his belt. A few blowout games this season should do the trick.

Rings
It won't hurt us that bad. Matt didn't get sacked once against Pitt who I think is a better sack team. Running the ball would concern me more.
