slamee101
This is why you never burn bridges. I remember when some of Matt's comments to Wren when he was let go. He really wanted to keep the door open if there was a possibility to come back in the future.

Isosceles
Good to have Matty D back. I don’t particularly LIKE the borderline pudgy, makes-you-nervous outfielder. But I will say this: At least he won’t just sit there and WATCH a third call strike! The guy comes to the plate to HIT the ball every time. That, I like!Joe

=abrahamburger=
Good to have Matty D back. Yes it is. I just heard on the radio he's batting over .400 (.415 I believe) vs. lefties in the last month.
Bahamut
Good move by Wren to bring him back. The less we see of Heyward vs lefty the better. Other then the usual day off for Chipper and late inning sub. Heyward going to be riding the bench alot rest of the season.

K26dp
*shrugs*I like the guy. Shouldn't be doing more than pinch hitting at this point though.
Unknøwn
Fredi said there might be a platoon in RF but he hasnt decided yet right now hes just excited about having the "two headed monster" of Hinske and Diaz to call on
K26dp
Fredi said there might be a platoon in RF but he hasnt decided yet right now hes just excited about having the "two headed monster" of Hinske and Diaz to call onHinske and Diaz are two very nice bullets to have in late innings. Diaz also gives the Braves a better RHPH option than Conrad. Hopefully this means Conrad will be used in those PH options that Gonzalez has been inexplicably using Lugo for, and Diaz and Hinske in late-and-close pinch hitting situations. Then you have Constanza for start-of-the inning PH and pinch running opportunities, and you still have Wilson left over for defensive replacement potential at 2B/SS/3B when there's a double-switch opportunity. And you have Ross has the best back-up catcher in the game. This is a very, very good postseason bench.

ATLBrave
Sent the Pirates Eliecer Cardenas to complete the deal, a RP in A ball. Posted a 2.11 ERA, 11.5 K/9 and a 5.3 BB/9 in 59 2/3 innings this year. Got him in the rule 5 draft from the Twins.
