atlshocker
http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:6903503ESPN talks about us and of course its kind of negative...He explains how our schedule is tough out the gate. I think we will be ok. Im not afraid of any of first four opponents, even The Eagles. I would have put clip here, but I don't know how. high impact
Some people get paid to talk. Then you have people that have no clue that like to go on record just in case so they can say see I knew all along.Thats all he is doing talking like he knows all. atlshocker
Yeah just like, Skip Bayless was doubting us all last year waiting on us to lose.
Ohio Dirty Bird
I like it . I like that we are still disrespected and the underdog. Too bad other teams coaches dont think like the media . We would sneak alot of wins. Pitt Steelers talked very high of the Falcons and how good they will be this year. I think I would listen to Steelers before ESPN , they won more Super Bowls LOL
DonDaLuvMaker
I bet he has never watched a Falcons regular season game in his entire life. Espn's analysts and bias management always suck. I'm not surprised though. Their beloved Cowgirls are mediocre. We're matched up against the (supposed) best teams in the league on our schedule. It's gonna be a fun season. cnasty
The reason we get no respect is because people expect us to lose. When we win, it usually isn't a glamorous 30 pt win. We are extremely blue collar and never the 'sexy' pick. It's easy to root against ATL from the outside because there's not much history as us being a dominant force. You've got to earn that respect. I think we earn it by the season. Colin Cowherd said on his show earlier today (Monday) "don't buy the losses you're seeing in Atlanta right now." He talked about us tinkering with our offense and defense. He went on to say that the NFCS will be up for grabs btw TB, NO, and us. So yeah, these people get paid to talk and when they don't have anything substantive to say, they will say what they think people wanna hear. TdotFalcon
The guy isn't really disrespecting the falcons, he actually makes some valid points.i thought so too, he wasn't disrespecting us. He was being real. I hope Smitty tells the team all those facts.
The Falcon Jedi Knight
I dont have to watch that to know that we have not impressed much this pre-season, and we have a tough schedule against some good passing teams and our secondary mostly sucks. HouseofEuphoria
The guy is right about the schedule, it's brutal. But i wouldnt have it any other way. It's brutal every year.I dont want any excuses when we win it all.

Geneaut
I refuse to get worked up over the media take on our team. We play in a tough division, and we've got our work cut out for us.

ltstorm2
I am saddened to say that our fanbase has turned into something similar to the Saints fan base. It seems that if any analyst isn't kissing our *** then he's dissing the Falcons. This guy had nothing at all bad to say about the Falcons. He only spoke the truth. He even said our team could take the *** whooping Green Bay gave us and let it make us better, or we might always crumble under the pressure of the playoffs. Then in another thread about NFL networks coverage of our Pittsburgh game and their announcers. The announcers had glowing things to say about the Falcons and the Falcon players. They may have been local announcers but they were farrrrrrr from being homers and so bad that it had to be muted.I remember a few weeks ago some posters couldn't believe there was any possibility we'd lose to the Lions. Seriously?Maybe i'm wrong but it seems that after having 3 winning seasons some of ya'll are getting a bit snooty(maybe not the best use of the word but can't think of anything else). the_sheff
Falcons fan - Schedule is tough. The team will be better but the record may not indicate it. Member of the media - Schedule is tough. The team will be better but the record may not indicate it. Its really hard to be a non-homer fan on this board.
