Zodiac
I don't really have a clear memory, but Baker didn't look all that great from what I can remember last night, and on the one series against Pitt's first teamers, Valdez looked like he held his own, you may think he's getting blown up because all the pressure coming from the left side, that's on Andrew Jackson, he was getting blown off the line all night.Son in your opinion who was better? Baker or Valdez Edited August 28, 2011 by Zodiac
Master Exploder
I can't wait until Jose Valdez gets cut permenantly, so I can stop reading about how awesome he is every training camp and pre-season, only to see him fall short of making the 53 man roster. Again.
FalconState
To me the O-line looked good last night i think we only gave up 1 sack against one of the best Ds in the league but to me Sam Baker is a better player

hakim24
Like everyone else, Sam started out slow. He really picked it up as the game went on though and looked very solid.

Borat
They both blow nuts. LT, not TE will be our first pick next year.

LT, not TE will be our first pick next year.Do you even know what # Valdez is? cause he hasn't Blown Nuts preaseason at all, I don't think he's given up a sack, and has only had 1 penalty. dmo_dlo
Valdez is a lock to make the 53 man, Bruggeman will be cut and jackson will be sent to the PS.Jackson will not go to PS. I actually won't be surprised if he ends up being the starting RG midway through the season. Our RG is shaky.

freebird310
I watched the Sunday replay as well, and I thought Baker was very good in protection except for letting Keisel get by him on the play Ryan got picked . It was Keisel's pressure that caused the INT .......
Andre5000
I just thought it was cool that Charles Davis called him JUAMN VALDEZ !!! LoL.. that was classic
slamee101
Sam was ok, I watched him closely the 2nd time around and he did alright at times and got beat a few times. I guess he was facing James Harrison and all but I don't know that Sam is going to be our starting LT in 2012.
Guest JoeSr
Someone mentioned earlier we gave up more than one sack; it was indeed only one sack.
hogifino
Valdez is Falcon ready and deserves to be on the roster. Had a solid pre season.
Falkonator
If we put Andrew Jackson on our ps another team will pick him up, we will be a starter in this.league either this season or in the nxt 2.
The Don™
Are we talking about the same player, Jackson was getting blown off the line last night, he's going to the PS.I heard they really like Jackson, but he's not ready for the big leagues just yet. If he does go on the PS, he could use that time to bulk up and get stronger...

I didn't think he would before, but Hawley will need a back up. That will mean some other player will not make the team.I kept noticing that Valdez was playing on the right side and Svitek was playing LT Sat. night. I was wondering what it meant actually. I could have missed him at LT some Sat., but not sure. Edited August 30, 2011 by JRid
