beernuts
I like Grimes - generally greatBut he cost us 14 points in the first half by going for INT instead of first stopping the ball Knock it down first, catch it secondI think it's an aberation but I will be watching to see if it becomes a trendSorry boo
Northern_Falcon
2nd TD wasnt even grimes man, he came over and helped out
vel
Where were the safeties both times? Grimes was in position the first time and somehow missed but DeCoud should have cleaned that play up. The bomb, there was no safety. We never run Cover 0.

Geneaut
I wouldn't go so far as to claim he cost us 14 ... both those balls were well thrown to a WR who can make plays in traffic. A centimeter either way and Grimes has 2 INTS.The Steelers are big boys ... you gotta bring your best against them.
nomak
2nd TD wasnt even grimes man, he came over and helped outYes...but he could have knocked the ball away instead of giving his wife something to brag about on twitter. He should have knocked the ball away on that one and it would have been 4 and 10. He better start playing smart not playing for the top 10 plays. He gave 14 points period. NewtonLaws
2nd TD wasnt even grimes man, he came over and helped outThank you. I thought I was the only one that saw that. Franks got burnt and Grimes came over and let the ball go through his hands. He has been in position just not making the plays that we are use too. Dharma Initiative
Grimes is getting to be like Asante Samuel. He will amaze you but he will also always go for the kill and that will cost you

Eddie Dominguez
It's pre season man. He was inches from 2 picks. Obvious that he's taking risks that he wouldn't normally take in the regular season. Chill out man good god. Hes been in position all night just got to bat it down instead of goin for the pick
76trillionyrs
I do believe this is just him feeling comfortable enough to try for a pick in preseason. i hope he will bd those in the regular season.

atlGM
Falcons fans are so wish washy. The guy had a pick in the first 2 games of the year. Do you want him to stop goin for the int now. He wasnt beat bad barely missed the ball on both plays. The safety was alsout of position on both plays. Not too mention they where both great passes. Why are you actin like Grimes hasn't shown us his ability the past 2 years off of 1 PRE SEASON game.

Seriously why is he above criticism? We have all seen players who make the pro bowl and start believing their own hype - I am NOT saying this is the case - I amsayong he made two plays that cost us 14 points in a preseason game and it's worth watchingI don't get why Grimes should not be criticized foraking two bad plays -
Borat
Yes it's preseason, but this game is pissing me off. Our secondary is terrible and our offensive play calling is some of the worst I've seen. And I can't believe JJ11 dropped that pass.

First TD he was WELL with in his playing talent to try what he did no behind help is not his FAULT DUHThe suppose second TD was no way in HECK  a bad play on his part. He was trying to help franks or do you think he should be covering all the WR on the field. Plus if you had watch he almost made a great play on it. Grimes in not above criticism to bad your to clueless to understand it is unwarranted in both cases.
beernuts
I will try and help you understand cause it's obvious your clueless. This type of head in the sand response amazes me - you attack me because Grimes went for two interceptions he missed which resulted in touchdowns? I am not and never have argued Grimes is a bad player - I said he made two bad playsSeriosly, get some perspective - twice he went for big plays and missed which hurt the team - get over it

The luxury of having a safety where he should be is that, if you're a playmaker, you can take a chance and make a play.I'm kind of surprised more hasn't been made of Decoud's regression from the season before last. Guest JoeSr
I don't care. I just watch the game for entertainment and hope my team wins at the end of the day. I'll let the brass worry about everything else. They hundred of thousands to millions to do so.
