Preseason Week 3: The Dress Rehearsal™

Ok, we know the Panthers didn't look too sharp (audience gasps) but now we can focus on the 3 teams expected to make noise in the division in the closest thing to a game that matters this time of the year.

Falcons vs Steelers: This should be a reasonable snapshot of what the Falcons have done to improve since the divisional round. Vanilla D or not, the Steelers ain't giving up any higlights without leaving a mark. Rapelisberger is hard to bring down (just ask the criminal justice system in GA) so this should be a fun test of that new and improved pass rush.

Bucs vs Miami: this looks like pretty good practice for the Bucs running D. I'd expect Radio took exception to the clinic NE put on them and will have them saving some face here, even if the game is ultimately decided by longshots in the final minutes. I'm supposed to hate these guys but I genuinely like watching the Bucs play.

Saints vs Oakland - strictly a tune-up game, which we appear to need (lots of silly miscues in the first two games). The pressure in on internally to go out and prove we're serious about another title run, so I expect a lopsided result which I promise not to brag about. THEN AGAIN Jason Campbell does have like a +5 to QB swagger vs New Orleans, so there's that. I mostly worry about their fans <_<

You guys have to prove you can tackle, especially against Run DMC.

He's one of the more elusive backs in the leauge, if you can't bring him down I'll have a hard time calling you SB contenders.

After what happened to Raheem and his crew last week this game should be very telling. Same with the Saints.

Per usual Falcon fans figure since they have yet to put up a subpar performance in the preseason they're destined for another 13-3 season.

Who the **** said that?

We have just as many issues if not more than the Saints do. Our lack of quality depth, Turner's level of play and the fact our NB whoever that is(Owens, Franks, Walls) will get torched by every team we play with a top tier QB. I'm not even going to mention that Ryan has looked far from stellar the first 2 games.

All of our teams have room for improvement, we'll see where we are after this weekend.

When Josh and Bucs beat the Falcons this season..

I promise to bring it up as much as possible.

When Cam Newton and the Panties beats the Saints just ONCE this year, not twice... just once.... I am going to F UCKING laugh my f ucking a$$ off. And trust me, thats going to happen. The Saints love to keep the Panthers in the games for some reason. Only time i will ever root for $cam
