bamaiz2sirius4u
I really don't pay too much attention to the SEC, were A.J. and J.J. really that comparable?Yes! They were so comparable, in 2008 for their Freshmen year, the media voted Julio the SEC Freshman of the year and AJ First Team All-SEC, Julio was selected as a Second Teamer. They were compared coming out of high school and will continue to be compared throughout their NFL careers. They are both exceptional receivers!! swift
How many catches did Julio have game 2 pre seas?
docfalcon
Who cares if he had 2 drops in a game. I remember a few years ago some on here were questioning the hands of a certain pro bowl WR that led the league in receptions last year. Roddy had some problems with catching the ball initially but that has worked out pretty good for us. These two guys are 1A and 1B as far as receivers go in the rookie class. Just depends on the flavor that you like. For anyone that watched SEC football over the last 3 years knows, they will both be great. Don't have to diminish one to like the other (that's what children do). We are lucky to have Julio, but we would have been just as lucky to have AJ. DUB
Not a Falcon. And I don't care.hmmm an AJ Green thread......he's not a Falcon and I dont care....let me tell everyone that I dont care!
Northern_Falcon
Being a die hard Georgia Fan and Falcons fan, I hate to see how people constantly bring up AJ in comparison to Julio. When the season starts you guys are probably going to be comparing the suits that they wear to the games and some how translate that to how AJ sucks and Julio is so much better. I love Julio and I think he's going to be great here, but AJ is a **** fine receiver and will have a great NFL career so stop with the comparisons. I want both guys to succed. You forgot they they will probably try and think of nicknames for their suits

paulitik
I'm a huge AJ fan, and I curse Mike Brown for drafting and possibly ruining my second alltime favorite Dawg. I can only hope in 4-5 years, when Roddy is toward the end of his career, that we can get AJ as a FA to complement Julio, and save AJ from that Orange and Black hole of despair in Cincinatti. I just hope Green can get away more cleanly than Palmer did.

I have family in Monticello, they are just baffled by what happened to him. They thought he was going to be a superstar.

Terber
I'm a huge Julio fan. Also a huge Tide fan, but more importantly at the moment in this context a die-hard Falcon fan. As a Julio/Bama/Falcon fan, I wish AJ Green nothing but enormous success and prosperity. He's a good kid. Also for the record, UGA and Bama are not natural/traditional rivals.
