jlrfalcon
Actually, even as a Bulldog fan and graduate, I would not be surprised to see AJ have nowhere near as good of a season as JJ. A WR's success is heavily determined by the QB throwing to him, and JJ has a huge advantage with Ryan throwing to him.

The Don™
I don't see why he's getting negged for all these posts, you guys are just being UGA homers. I don't have anything against Green but I think Julio is better. You people need to realize the same Falcons news about how Owens or Baker or the tackling sucks is boring and some people like to hear news about the rest of the NFL. Also, AJ and Julio will be compared to one another their entire careers. Deal with it.That's why we have "Around the NFL"....Just saying
King Dre
He dropped 3 passes in a preseason game? What a bust. Move over, Jamarcus.
DaMeatTroughsEgo
Yeah but more people come on here. If the mods don't like where this thread is they can just move it.Agreed. At least this thread was SOMEWHAT Falcons/Georgia related. I mean there are plenty of boards on the net that have all of the NFL in one place even if it's a certain team's message board. Magic Man
I had a Bengals fan tell me that the Bengals were practically even with the Falcons offensively. He told me that the AJ's stats were a given this year, and compared Dalton to Ryan in his rookie year...I scoffed at him.

nomak
Yeah, AJ dropped a pass - he obvioulsy will suck as an NFL player - Bengals should just cut him now.Agree 100%.
DaMeatTroughsEgo
Agree 100%.I was just sick of hearing about how AJ's hands are godly and that they set him apart from every other wide receiver, even Julio. They are both 1A and 1B until proven otherwise, but I will certainly admit to being biased against UGA and AJ Green. So I guess I am a hater, but I will admit to it. BadMoonRising
I think Julio is an amazing adition to our roster, that being I am not one to take someone down to make others look better. I want Julio to acheive and do amazing things, but I am not secretly rooting on AJ Fail to rationalize or premote TD's move getting JJ.An example of someone that does this all the time is. Vick-75 and his other thousand screen namesHe constantly bashes Ryan to rationalize his love affair for Vick, lets not do the same to AJ. Last thing anyone wants to do is be like Vick-75. dvt5045
I almost feel bad that AJ was drafted by the Bengals (arguably the worst franchise in the NFL) while Julio was drafted by the Falcons a team with a great QB and overall team. Nonetheless as a UGA fan I wish AJ nothing but the best in his NFL career.
Clark Kent™
I guarantee you if he didn't go to UGA and was just some other player that we were contemplating drafting then none of these people would be saying anything to back him up. Tons of UGA homers in here lol

Nerdy Bird
Being a die hard Georgia Fan and Falcons fan, I hate to see how people constantly bring up AJ in comparison to Julio. When the season starts you guys are probably going to be comparing the suits that they wear to the games and some how translate that to how AJ sucks and Julio is so much better. I love Julio and I think he's going to be great here, but AJ is a **** fine receiver and will have a great NFL career so stop with the comparisons. I want both guys to succed.I really don't pay too much attention to the SEC, were A.J. and J.J. really that comparable?
