Sheldon Cooper
Three of those runs were like 10 yds each. Only one time was he stopped for no gain. One time he was about to be caught in the backfield for a loss and he got away and still got positive yards. On the other two carries he really fought for tough yards but he impresses me very much. Even without Smith and Johnson not doing anything in addition to screw ups like muffing a punt, getting stuffed for a loss, or just getting caught in no mans land or going down on first contact a yard short on 3rd down, Rodgers is still ahead of those two in my book.Aaron

GENERALZOD
I agree, at some point during the regular season I can see a double reverse possibly getting called using Quizz and Julio. The possibilities of what they can do on offense is awesome. 84White32Quizz
I dont remember a muffed punt, I do remember a muffed kick off and that wasnt Quizz. But Quizz did look good last night, hiding behind the o-lineman and he only had one chance to catch a pass but he caught it.This guy will be very valuable to this team, we kind of saw why we only gave Snelling a one year contract. maxatlanta
IMO the running and pass catching competition among the back up RBs has already been settled. Quizz has something special that the others don't. But if he is going to be our 3rd down back he'll have to show he can protect.

didz
Quizz at times looked like he was going to take it to the house with his cut back moves. He has great vision and does something that none of our other running backs do, is hit a hole that is not there at first but creates it with his moves. He squares his shoulders at the point of contact and plows ahead.

Faithful Falcon
J.R. is the real deal. A steal like the experts? say.Absolutely. I don't know why people knock his size. Barry Sanders was about 5'7", so is Maurice Jones-Drew, and Dunn was about 5'8" in cleats. He's also at or around 200 lbs. That's normal size. He's on a few inches shorter than Turner. FlyHighFalcons
Looked good. The coaching staff is making a huge mistake by not playing him with the first teamers. If he makes the team, that's what he'll see. Turner and Snelling already know what it's like to play against first teamers, so why not give Quizz some reps? Makes NO sense. paulitik
He is an absolute blast to watch, and he ain't scared either. There are going to be a lot of sore shins for defenders trying to get him.
JBeattz
My main concerns were if he would be knocked down with one hit, and if he would be able to take the hits physically. I was optimistic about both concerns, and after seeing him against the Jags, I'm not worried at all anymore. Dude was dragging guys and taking hits and popping right back up really fast. Quizz is going to be really special for us. Once Turner is done, all we'll have to do is make sure we have a decent sized compliment/change of pace back for this guy and we'll be golden in the run game. JayOzOne
I think the only way he gets injured is with a solid blind-side hit. He's so shifty and has fantastic field vision, so that's less likely than it was with Norwood, who's long strides and running style contributed to his injuries. The Birds are the truth
I think he's a few inches shorter than these guys, to be truthful:"Yes" Rodgers is short but as long as Rodgers keep dragging defenders, it really doesn't matter. This is something that we have not done in the past. I would like the see him start one. So, yes I feel where you are coming from.
