I have said numerous times that Jenkins is not reliable and is inconsistent at beating single coverage. I have never stated that Jenkins has never beat single coverage.

In case it hasn't been posted enough. It's preseason. You don't show up your new weapons and schemes in a meaningless game. Did anybody, anybody at all notice how bad the Oline was getting beat? Ryan didn't have time to wait for most routes to develop. If it helps, rewatch the game and count 1 Missippi, 2M...., etc. I bet you can't get past 3. I hate to say it but Dahl is sorely missed at the moment. It does take these guys a while to gel so let's not freak out especially when it's preseason. Trust me, we are not DUUUMMMMEEEEDDDD yet.

I wasn't making a comparison. I was asking a question considering the fact that we have claims that Mularkey has kept plays under wraps for the playoffs.

What I found mind boggling was how our offense ranked dead last in post season rushing yards and second to last in passing yards in 2010.

This is either a lack of game planning by our focus and/or lack of execution by our players.

It was understandable in 2008 when we accredited it all to it being our first postseason game in the new era, but how long will we continue to make excuses instead of demanding change?

Mr. Blank has come in determined to turn it around. He has made the moves he felt would bring a championship to this City and yes, he's made some bad mistakes trying, but he's changed the culture. Bringing in TD and Smitty has made us better than we've ever been over a 3 year period.

Do we want us to continue to get better? Of course we do. What we do know for a fact is that this team has turned around and is heading in the right direction. We are not moving backwards and we are not even standing still. We are getting better and we are moving towards a championship.

This team is not mediocre. Not even slightly.

I agree there were a lot of leaks in the middle. I just happened to notice a few from the RG spot. I'll rewatch the tape later in the week. Baker did seem to have trouble here and there but I noticed the player on the A and B gaps on the right side getting to Ryan first. I don't care how fast Roddy and Julio run they will be a non factor if this does not get corrected in a hurry. Even the run blocking was bad. Turner couldn't go anywhere.

If you don't remember Marty Schotteinheimer was fired after going 14-2 and losing in the playoffs. Why? Because the ownership grew sick and tired of choking in the playoffs. Say what you will about the Chargers, but our franchise is not much better than theirs. As a California resident, I know a fair amount of Charger fans, and they show an eagerness for excellence Atlanta fans lack. They aren't satisfied with just winning seasons. They want to win, and they want to win now.

Tired of MM and this vanilla play calling. Honestly it's so predictable to read his playcalling; Here's what i have seen so far that im not digging.

1) Running the ball on the 2 yard line in the backfield for 0 yardage.

2) The routes our wr's are getting are too shallow and not deep enough ( you see what happened when we gave all 3 or 4 of our receivers longer routes and Harry turned it upfield, that should be happening like clockwork for us!)

3) You give turner the ball on 1st and 2nd down and wait until 3rd to throw it. He's wasting our downs when we have a great passing core.

We don't need to start wasting clock unless we have a minimum of 10+ point margin, it's not cool!

Also, I don't wanna hear a reply that says its just a preseason game because this is the time to start building good habits and if we wanna start winning playoff games this vanilla play calling has got to stop!
