basketballjones72
FYI- Bodog lists Julio Jones as the favorite to win rookie of the year, odds are 5:1. Nice!

Tandy
It would be nice, but he will have some tough competition for that honor this year. If Cam Newton does well, he's a shoe-in because he is a QB and has been hyped a lot. Then, there is A.J. Green, who is extremely talented in his own right and Mark Ingram is definitely going to be competition. He can certainly win it, and I'm excited to see what he does this year, but there are definitely a few very talented offensive rookies who have a shot at those honors. dhayester
I think Julio is in one of the better positions to get ROTY, but as Tandy points out, if Cam does well this year, he'll get it just by being a QB

aerosmith67
Keep in mind the Panthers have the hardest Strength of Schedule, which is mostly based on having to play in the NFCS but that usually doesn't pan out well for a team that won 2 games the previous year no matter who's at QB. Falcon Fantom
I think Julio could definitely get it.
Hoppy™
I think he will be the BEST offensive rookie this year, but due to the fact that he will playing across from the top WR in the NFL last year, and with a HOF TE next to him as well, on a run-first team, no less..... I think he will be the most IMPRESSIVE offensive rookie this year (I'm thinking Fairley on D if he has his act together), but I just don't think there will be enough balls to go around in this offense for him to get ROY honors....There are other talented rookies who will be depended on for MUCH bigger roles this year, but who knows.... If JJ gets THAT hot, and teams decide to play up in the box to contain the run and double up on Roddy, he could wind up as the #1 guy in this offense...As much as I'd love him to get ROY, I'm much happier about the fact that we might be too loaded on offense for that to happen. DavyDmx
Regardless if Julio wins ROY or not, I just want him to be type of solid receiver that Michael Jenkins should have been when he played here.

Their schedule is brutal. Same goes for AJ. He just hurt his knee and the Bengals will be force feeding the run with a rookie QB. Ingram will have a shot if he starts all season.
