Butudontseeme™
I'm not saying he will but if Samuel came here he would have better safety play behind him than he does currently. Makes his risk taking style less risqué
Radical
Asante was the best coverage CB in the NFL last year. He was thrown at only 46 times last year and gave up just 21 receptions. QBs had a rating of 31.7 when throwing his direction. The longest catch he allowed last season was 25 yards.Chris Owens on the other hand gave up 17/20(0 PDs) passes for 169 and 2 TDs... IN ONE GAME(Bengals). It should be cause for a ban to put those two in the same breath as each other.
Radical
So was the Owens play...That's my point!I think you missed last year.
madman88
He thought it was going to be a slant cause they had the blitz on. Asante takes chances. That's why he always will get INTs and give up TDs. Take the good with the badthank you!!!! at least someone knows football, everybody SHOULD kno that if a defense blitz, the offense should have a ''hot route'' which is either a slant a hitch or a screen, something to get the ball out quick. so asunte did the right thing expecting a quick route, but i still dnt want him either way... madman88
but this proved my point earlier in another post that this team looks real good on paper, but that dnt mean squat on the field, still gotta go out and play...

RED ZONE TD
Truthfully I want TO. Don't neg.[/quoTO in this offense would be sweet...Roddy, Gonzo, Julio, TO, HD, Meier, Turner, Ryan, Ovie, Snelling, Rodgers, and special teams ace weems.....that's a hellava team and thats just on the offesive end of things ...wow....Yeap TO would fit nicely
bossFALCON™
Samuel doesnt fit their new press man scheme at all and it was evident on that play. He'd be a beast outside corner in our scheme. Almost the exact same skillset as grimes. No way the eagles trade him here though

I watched that scalding "Crisp" took(Bengals), but the stats you posted take "Crisp" to another level...Extra Crispy.
Hustle Up
Philly made a mistake trying to shop Asante around for those 2nd round picks....You're telling the guy we really don't want you. The guy ain't going all out for a pre-season game and neither is Desean.
Hustle Up
Truthfully I want TO. Don't neg.I wouldn't mind TO if they got him...but truthfully we don't need TO. I think the offense is set. The most important thing is for that offensive line to have a good year. Edited August 19, 2011 by TNB

Almost the exact same skillset as grimes. No way the eagles trade him here thoughI agree.Besides, Samuel has always had a reputation as a gambler. For every play he gets burnt on like that TD pass, he'll come right back and make a huge INT. He's extremely talented and would work fantastic in our system. Too bad he's stuck in Philly. At one point or another just about every Falcon starter has been bashed including Matt Ryan, Roddy White, William Moore, Grimes, Dunta Robinson, Weatherspoon, Blalock, Weems, Douglas, Corey Peters, Jerry, Biermann, Vick when he was here etc. I think that we need to start giving our players the benefit of the doubt. The darn team was 13-3 last year for goodness sake... Things can't be as bad as y'all make them out to be.
