Vick in the Dome and Falcons Fans cheering for him

You're not going to stop football fans from loving Vick so you might as well get over it. Vick is the most exciting player in the league so how can you not appreciate that. Everybody else has forgiven him of what he did, and most importantly, if God can forgive him who are you not to, I'm glad Vick was able to come back and do what he's doing. When the Falcons play Philly I want the Falcons to win period, but I also want to see some excitement. LET'S GO FALCONS!

Dude, the only time I even think about the guy is when nuts huggers like you bring him up. Like I said before, you can cheer for him if you like, but when he's playing against the Falcons and you are rooting for him, you are very much NOT a Falcons fan. A fan does not pull for an opponent.

I'm not going to sit here and try to say I didn't enjoy watching him play when he was a Falcon. When he actually gave a sh!t, he was indeed exciting. However, after making excuses for his stupid behavior over and over, I finally realized that A. he is truly a self-centered, no brained scumbag, and B. he ain't never going to play here again.

I moved on after he left, because he moved on before he left.

Anyone that was a fan BEFORE Vick came here is still a fan of the team, and not a guy that plays against them, and crapped on the fans, his teammates, the staff, the owner, the city, etc. while he was here.

I was a huge Deion Sanders fan as a kid. He was an exciting player, too. But, once he left, he acted like an azzhole when he played the Falcons. I was fine with him when he played other teams, but I hated his azz when he played against the Falcons. When a dude leaves and then plays against the Falcons, that player is dead to me, no matter how much I may have liked them when they were here.

The only people I can imagine genuinely cheering for Vick while trying to say they are Falcons fans are people who became Falcons fans BECAUSE of Vick. If that's the case, then I can kind of understand the guy having a special place in your heart. However, that is still no excuse to pull for the guy when he is playing against the team you claim to be a fan of.

The guy is a slug...even if he is a talented football player.. that is whats make him more of a slug...He was coddled... paid rather well and had all the great football players falling over themselves to give him advice... and he returned it with NO RESPECT....

Had a discussion with my best friend who is also a falcons fan (30+ years). Said when Vick comes to Atlanta he can't help but cheer for him. My blood started to boil. The discussion when on and he said that Vick would get lot's of Atlanta fans going for him in that game. How the he11 can you be a Falcons fan and cheer for the guy who is trying to beat your team. I'm telling you this is going to be an odd game. I will be there and it's going to be hard to contain myself (but i will) if the guy next to me has on a Falcons jersey but cheering for Vick. Might feel like seeing an ex-girlfriend who dumpped you with another guy.

I think we'll win this game so in the end that's all that will matter but the though of it makes me sick.

I would have had thoughts of slapping the **** out him so hard, his mouth bled. The bad part about it is, his honesty is brutal, no shame whatsoever. You got that right. If I go, this will be my very first NFL football game ever. I will be calling out. They get fuzzy with me, they can feel free to get kicked out the game. Good riddance! I cannot stand the thought of this. I'll probably come out with a blood pressure of 200/120 or something. To the OP, I do not see how in the phuck your friend can call himself a Falcons fan and then cheer for the opposition because he is a former teammate. You didn't see Packers fans cheering Favre during the game. They cheered him (and some even booed) before the game, and then it was them against us. Whats funny about hearing you say that is, the last game, when vick played in the dome, all the vick haters were reeeeal quiet and reeeeeal scared. Not to mention GONE at halftime. If anybody said anything they got punked real quick. Maybe that was just my section but ask other people who were at the game. Correction, I did see a couple dudes try to talk **** to some chicks wearing number 7 jerseys but that was about it. I was wearing my red ryan jersey btw. That was a CRAZY game.

Any fan of The Falcons that wear Vick #7 jersies are NOT Falcon fans! Matt Ryan has done more for The Falcons than Vick in the 4 years he has been in ATL! Remember when Vick gave the finger to all the fans after that game? Remember when he murdered numberous amount of dogs? Remember when he got caught at an airport with a pipe? Remember the GQ interview?! Matt Ryan was/is so much smarter as a QB than Vick will ever be!
