g-dawg
every time I hear Reggie Kelly's name I cringe....Dan-Friggin'-Reeves traded a future 1st round pick(ended up being #5 pick overall - Ravens selected RB-Jamal Lewis,UT) to the Baltimore Ravens for the privilege of selecting Reggie Kelly in the 2nd round - a blocking Tight End.This is the 5th worst Falcons move in franchise history.WORST MOVES IN FALCONS FRANCHISE HISTORY:#1) Trading Brett Favre(QB)#2) Letting Deion Sanders(CB) go (did not franchise him)#3) Selecting Aundray Bruce(LB) as #1 overall pick#4) Giving up 1st round draft pick to sign Peerless "I Hate Y'all" Price. IceFalcon
Joining with his old OC that we recently just got.Maybe they are bringing him in not only for his blocking abilities, but also his teaching abilities.
Radical
He's been one of the better blocking tight ends in the league for nearly a decade. PFF has him rated as the #15 pass blocking tight end from 2008-2010:http://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2011/06/16/2010-pass-blocking-efficiency-tight-ends/...Not every tight end's job is to go out and catch passes, you know.He was their 13 worst ranked last year though. I'd like to see his run blocking numbers though.

g-dawg
So he could stay with us and drink himself out of the league?I did not realize that MILWAUKEE Wisconsin did not sell BEER? What was I thinking?    You can drink, but there's nowhere for you to party at 4AM. Brett Favre himself said he owes his career to that trade, and that getting out of Atlanta and its night life saved his career.

Herock drafted Favre but did not believe in him enough to tell Glanville to "stick it" and get him counseling/help.No, i think its a hollow argument to say that just the trade itself turned Favre around.
