Houshmandzadeh is scheduled to meet with the New England Patriots, according to a league source.Houshmandzadeh, 33, played in 16 games for the Ravens last season, and put up the lowest numbers of his career — 30 receptions, 398 yards — since his rookie season with the Bengals in 2001.He has two 1,000-yard seasons in his career, and had a career-high 112 receptions with the Bengals in 2007. He played with the Seahawks in 2009 following eight seasons with the Bengals. The Patriots have a young group of receivers behind veterans Wes Welker, Deion Branch and Chad Ochocinco, a longtime teammate of Houshmandzadeh, who they acquired in late July for a pair of late-round picks.linkage Edited August 15, 2011 by birdz4i
ki46dinah
I live in the New England area now, and a lot of the talking heads here dont understand why they would even look at him...they have a relative plethora of receivers, all of which are significantly faster and less of a headache than Housh. And they have their relative possesion guy in Chad already.
