Wokezone
Julion Jones is Beast ModeMatt Ryan Looks sharpMichael Turner Looks back to 08 FormHarry Douglas looks sharpOverall Falcons Offense is going to ( The Greatest Show on Turf 2.0 )Starters on defense looked quicker than fastBackups are definitly not looking as sharp as I would like but not horrible either I do like their potentialLawrence Sidbury is looking quick and solidFranks will be a better nickel over owens, but he needs to work on wrapping upBush is actually looking pretty goodThis defense is going to be scary when Edwards takes overOverall we are going to be an explosive strike team or run and controll the clock, we can do either. Defense is looking quick fast and playing in your face football. Great year ahead of us guys,

Zodiac
Owens needs to go, aside from that one blown coverage Walls did really well.Owens is just awful, there's no way in **** he wins the NB job.

NoMoreVick
The NB job is Franks.Baker has to pick it up. He's going to get Ryan hurt this season. No excuses.Reynolds, all things considered, did pretty well at RG tonight. His pass protection was a bit spotty at times, but he did pretty well in his first action. I think the job is his.I'm stoked about Julio. I'm not going to get too giddy, but I was thrilled about what I saw. His game speed is incredible. Nobody his size should be running like that. Julio alone will really change the way we go about the offense, and it creates another dynamic to what we'll do. Again, I'm not going to go overboard with excitement, but I saw exactly what I wanted to see.The secondary's depth scares me. It's a grease fire behind the starters. Not much else to say about it. It's true. Not much else to say about the first preseason game. About what I expected. Edited August 13, 2011 by NoMoreVick

pzummo
Our starters look like they are ready for the season to start. I didn't see any fringe players standout at all.
FalconState
Our starters looked AWESOME but the backups not so much

NewtonLaws
Our starters look great!!! Jones will BE OROY!!! OWENS WILL NOT WIN THE NB POSITION!!!Franks is good but I still feel like we should bring in a vet CB.I want to see more QUIZZ
Hustle Up
From what I see the starters are very good on both sides of the ball. I do fear that there is a lack of depth on the defense. It's too early to know for sure.
Knight of God
I enjoyed watching Matthews get a big sack!
slamee101
Felt real good about the offense. D looked good too but I wonder about Henne and that offense.Owens is like Chevis Jackson a couple years ago...if he's not careful he's got a chance at getting cut (doubtful though). kcchiefs
So how did Biermann look....was he the other starting DE? I would see us keeping 4 or maybe 5.......Abe RobertSid Kroythen chauncey or is Biermann falling on the depth chart
Supes™
The only thing I'm a LITTLE worried about is Ryan's slow starts. This has been happening for some time now. Doesn't mean squat in a preseason game, but it can hurt when it counts.I understand "shaking off the cob webs", and he looked sharp as a tack after the first set of downs, but slow starts can kill ya. Other than that, I thought the first string looked great and although it's very early, it appears Julio is gonna be everything we are counting on and worth it all. We saw the route combination and I’m defending the young man that was out there. We had not seen that route combination. It will be part of our installation as we move into next week. It was something that he hadn’t seen. It was two good plays by thing.I'm guessing that was on Walls. No way Owens doesnt know all the routes by now Edited August 13, 2011 by Romfal

falcons faithful
After the bad start in first set of downs was pleased. BUT I'll wait till at least 3rd preseason gm if not 4th till I condemn anyone OTHER THEN OWENS. LOOKED HIM UP IN DICTIONARY UNDER HOPELESS adjective1.providing no hope; beyond optimism or hope; 2.without hope; despairing: hopeless grief.3.not able to learn or act, perform, or work as desired; inadequate for the purpose:Think this says it all. :P
