Got Lombardi?
The Atlanta Falcons can grind out the tough yards as well as any team in the league. But too often in the biggest games their rushing attack lacks the crucial spark to lead them to victory.Workhorse Michael Turner will control the clock but lacks the explosion to provide the Falcons with that extra dimension needed against better teams.Turner posted just over four yards per carry in 2010 and nobody else on the team was capable of adding the dynamism needed once defenses began to slow Turner down. For a team so reliant on its running game, the Falcons need something extra from it in the most important games. The team will be hoping that fleet footed draft sleeper Jacquizz Rodgers can provide it.If the teams on this list are going to experience strong 2011 seasons then there best positional units will either have to force the rest of the league to take notice, or in some cases, simply justify their reputations. My link

Predictability works 2 ways.He posted a tissue for us to cry about having overrated running backs according to the bleacher report. That warranted a comment like that and i have never brought up the seahawks game.

ki46dinah
I'm not gonna say that Turner isnt limited in the things he can do on the field...but its silly to call our run game overrated when he led the NFC in rushing TD's and yards...and as non-explosive as Turner is, he had as many 20+ yard runs as Adrian Peterson, and more than MJD, Hillis, and Steven Jackson.Snelling is a nice complement, especially catching, and the hope is that Rogers can pick up where Norwood unfortunately left off.Ovie is a solid blocking FB.I mean, are we stacked? No...but we are certainly one of the better, and most consistent rush teams in the NFL. Edited August 12, 2011 by ki46dinah
Big Bubba
I'm all for some biased Falcon mocking, but BR sucks so badly. It's a place where purely biased bloggers go to try to make a stink about other teams and/or players.
