Clowsephus
I have lived my whole life one hour outside of Atlanta, in the heart of the Falcons' TV market. I am moving in two weeks to Richmond, Va for school, and was wondering what is the best way to view games out of market. If there are any fans familiar with the area who might know a good bar that will show the Falcs' games, then great. What are some options as to watching live via internet? It wont be fun being a rabid fan outside of the normal market, and any tips on how to survive will be a huge help. Thanks

TdotFalcon
Listen, I live in Canada. I did one season of internet watching. I couldn't stand it. You get more angry with trying to find feeds that are live or dont go down. I found the games to be frustrating rather then exciting and relaxing.Pay the money for Sunday Ticket. Worth every penny. If you actually are a rabid fan, you will find the money. Myself, I have to set aside money and not go out (I live paycheck to paycheck). But it is soooo worth it. Don't go out to the bar for a couple weekends, or stop yourself from impulse buying or useless purchases for a month.
Peyton
I live in Richmond. Plenty of places to watch the games. Hooter and Buffalo Wild Wings are my two favorite spots when I go out to watch the game.Where you going to school? U of R or VCU? Are you going to be living on campus downtown? Im not sure if I can purchase any packages since I will be on campus and the only thing we will get is cable, but I will find out how that works. PM me sometime if you go out to watch the game, its always more fun watching w/ other (not Skins) fans.

I'll send you a PM with the places closest to U of R to watch.
burnin
I live in Richmond as well, plenty of options around here to watch, if you're going to U of R (congrats btw great school) couple good spots in the fan area prob start with Banditos or Home team grill.....also near broad street you'll have baileys, buffalo wild wings, and hooters. More places in short pump, but not as close to U of R. As far as the fans go around here, ton of redskins fans and the skins suck so don't have to worry about that. I've been wearing gear and pulling hard in the bars for a couple years now, never had any issues. NFC East fans all over the place.
blizzard_falcon
Agree with everything that Peyton and Burnin have said. There are plenty of good places in Richmond to watch the game on Sunday, as long as you don't mind dealing with swarms of NFC East fans. Congrats on becoming a Richmond Spider! Maybe Sidbury will have a good season just for you. :P

Peyton
I think we've about rounded up enough central VA folks to take over a joint, so I think that's what we should do.
