NFL Network

Just a heads to u guys charter is getting the NFL network this season.....its starts here in St.Louis Saturday ....its not every Falcon game but its better than what we had in the past.

Welcome to three years ago Charter, my suck a$$ cable company. Comcast has had it for the last two years (that I know of). I could go on a rant about Charter's HD selection, but I am in a good mood right now and want to stay that way. I hope that this is true, cause you are getting my hopes up.

I have direct tv, and I live in Ga, so I don't have Sunday ticket. However, I do like the redzone channel, had it with dish, and direct last year. I don't like how it is a part of Sunday ticket on Directv where as with other providers you can have it for a few bucks a month. I wish I could get it without subscribing to Sunday ticket, or does anybody know if you can.

NFL - greedy aholes that prefer to keep the NFL Network off regular Cable.

F'k them.

That is incorrect. It was the cable companies that tried to strongarm the NFL by threatening not to carry NFLNetwork unless the NFL made Sunday Ticket available to the cable companies.

Problem was Directv already had a 7 BILLION dollar deal for exclusive rights to Sunday Ticket. So most Cable companies refused to carry NFLNetwork even though it was readily available to them.

Hooray for people who aren't whiny little babies and actually understand what was going on. Charter is a GARBAGE company. Unfortunately I have to use them for my internet since the ATT Fiber Optic network is 3x the price for 1/2 the speed.

I remember when Charter stopped carrying NFL Network, cause they used to have it, then they took it away, and when they did, they lost my business. Switched to DirecTV 3+ years ago, never looked back. Better service, cheaper prices, and with the money I save, I can pay for Sunday Ticket, even though I'm in Southeast TN, it's nice to never have to worry about missing a game.

I may be getting a job at the Direct TV sales department this week. It's in Miami. Send me a pm and ill let you know if I can swing anyone a hookup on the Sunday ticket. My buddy that got me the job has supposedly been able to get it for people for free

I got a 300 dollar credit towards it, so I had to pay like 35 bucks. Not half bad imo.

I got the tweet from the NFL the day they cut the deal about a week ago and have been checking my messages from Charter every day to no avail. Excellent info. I have been waiting since I believe 2005 when Charter had the NFLN for a year then all the fighting started with all the various cable/satellite companies. Now I really won't get anything done at home. B)

how did you get that?

Same way I do every year, this year they actually gave me the 50 dollar "mobile" package as well. I called in, told them that I wanted the promotion they were giving to new customers, they refused of course, so I told them I would just cancel my account and re-activate a new one and get it that way. They obliged me.
