Falconsfan567
Pretty funny how you conviently leave out that on Saturday he pitched 1 inning and had 3 strikeouts. It's also funny how people let 2 games in Philly and Colorado (2 pitchers nightmares) he gets rocked. How that overlooks all his solid outings. In those 2 games against the Phillies and Rockies he has pitched 1 1/3 innings giving up 6 hits, 10 runs, 6 walks and only 1 strikeout. That's a 7.52 ERA.In his other 16 games he has pitched 17 innings giving up 11 hits, 6 runs, 6 walks and 24 strikeouts. That's a 3.18 ERA.Which one is more accurate?I went back and found this post I made about Cory Gearrin. Dude has some potential and in 16 games has been far more useful than Scott Proctor has ever been in a Braves uniform period! Sure he had the 2 horrible games and you can't take that away but you can find 2 horrible games for any pitcher.
Ragnarok
I just don't understand what the Braves see in Proctor.

K26dp
when moylan comes back proctor will be goneNah, by then it'll be September and the rosters will be expanded.Of course this doesn't mean that a) Freddi has to use him and that he'd need to be on the post-season roster, assuming the Braves make it in.I also wouldn't be surprised to see Vizcaino in the majors and pitching out of the bullpen by August 31. Unknøwn
Proctor isnt going anywhere as said above Moylan will likely return when the rosters expand the only time you wont see Proctor is on the postseason roster unless theres an injury
ATL Fan in the DMV
I went back and found this post I made about Cory Gearrin. Sure he had the 2 horrible games and you can't take that away but you can find 2 horrible games for any pitcher. If Fredi would only use Gearrin against RH batters like he is supposed to, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Gearrin is elite against RH batters but TERRIBLE against LH. Look at the splits where he has been killed this year and you will see why Fredi is an idiot. If he'd just use this guy correctly, our bullpen wouldn't hurt so much not having a good RH RP that can get RH batters out (aside from Kimbrel of course). As for Proctor, he doesn't belong on ANY MLB roster...let alone ours. Dharma Initiative
I'd rather trade and use Rick Ankiel than Proctor

Falconsfan567
It was only about time. Glad so see Vizcaino up. I mentioned a while back that we could call him up and use him out of the pen.
