falcon22
I am hearing good things about him from camp, he can be groom to be a replacement for Snelling in the future.
Falcons Win
Yeah, I think more than we realized as fans, even hardcore fans, was that the FO was ready to let Snelling walk and I think this guy had a lot to do with it. TBH I'm not a fan of his really, but heck, why not root on the underdog? Personally I'm still rooting for A. Smith, but if Gartrell can make an impact, I'm all for him!I guess it just goes to show us that the NFL is a cruel place, especially at the runningback position. We've got Turner who is a cut above, but everyone under him sort of becomes a blur at some point.

delaigle
Hmmm Jason Snelling's 1st year was 2007Gartrell Johnson's first year was 2009he will not be a long term replacement,As a Falcon in 2010he had 1 run for 23 yards, the other 9 runs totaled 13 yardshe had 3 catches for a total of 6 yards. vel
I wouldn't be surprised if Johnson is used a lot more this year. Turner is a nonfactor in passing situations so that leaves us with just Quizz and Snelling if you don't include Johnson. Johnson allows us to further spread the load around for the RBs and gives us more options in formations.

Was it during cleanup time (our 2nds/3rds vs their 1s) or was it while the game was still on the line?
